THE SCARIEST ATTACK IN LEAGUE ONE?! 😳 Huddersfield v Luton preview

It's the toughest test of the season so far! 😬 Luton Town are back on the road tonight to face league leaders Huddersfield Town at the Accu Stadium in a huge League One clash. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and Town fan Mark Crowther to get stuck into the big questions ahead of the trip to Yorkshire. Huddersfield are top for a reason, with some frightening attacking statistics and the division's leading goalscorers. But Luton aren't far behind, sitting second in the scoring charts themselves. So how can the Hatters hurt the Terriers? Could Jack Wilshere change his formation for the challenge and, if he does, who might benefit from a tactical reshuffle? The lads discuss Huddersfield's biggest threats, the potential Luton line-up, how Town can get after the league leaders and, of course, make their score predictions. There's also the great chips and gravy debate! What camp do you fall into?  All this and plenty more on the longest-running, award-nominated Luton Town podcast, They Tried To Kill Us Off. 🧡 COYH! A PROMOTION-WINNING PERFORMANCE?! 🤯 FOUR in a row! | Peterborough 0 Luton 2

🤯 FOUR WINS ON THE SPIN! AND THIS ONE FELT DIFFERENT! Luton Town beat Peterborough United 2-0 at London Road to make it FOUR CONSECUTIVE WINS — their first run of four league victories in succession in League One since their promotion-winning campaign in 2018/2019! And was this a glimpse of something special? Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and guest Mark Crowther, the Town fan and fundraiser, to reflect on a hugely encouraging afternoon for Jack Wilshere's men. The boys go through the 90 minutes, looking closely at Luton's impressive starts to both halves, the many positives on and off the pitch and the areas where the Hatters still need to improve. There's plenty of discussion around what this winning run means, with one particularly telling assessment of the performance: "This was an away performance of a team that gets promoted." And with the belief growing, could Luton really be on the way to something special? Mark also joins us to talk about his latest charity adventure, the four causes he's raising money for, why they mean so much to him and what inspired him to take on another mammoth bike riding challenge when he said he was finished.  You can donate to Mark's 'Every Mind Matters' fundraiser here: https://www.justgiving.com/team/everymindmattershattersawaychallenge2  Plus, we get stuck into plenty of your comments on the latest episode of They Tried To Kill Us Off, the award-nominated independent Luton Town podcast! 💬 What did you make of Luton's performance? THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER! 🧡🔥 But Hatters still have 2 PROBLEMS TO SOLVE… | Luton 3 Doncaster 1

THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER! 🧡🔥 Luton Town have completed a perfect week at Kenilworth Road, beating Doncaster Rovers 3-1 to make it three wins from three home games and NINE POINTS FROM NINE! Jamie Donley struck a stunning brace, while Callum Marshall got the Hatters on their way from the penalty spot. Despite a slow start and a few nervy moments late on, it was another thoroughly enjoyable evening for Jack Wilshere's men. Kev and Jimbo are back to dissect all the key moments, debate a couple of controversial decisions and pick out the standout performers. They also look at what this run means for morale in the camp, the mood among the fans and Luton's position in the League One table. And, naturally, there's plenty more to enjoy — including your comments, Kev's tale of terrible KFC gravy and Jimbo's embarrassing injury.  But as Kev puts it: "Put that team in front of us and win, lose or draw, Kev's a happy boy". 🎧 Join us for the latest episode of They Tried To Kill Us Off, the award-nominated independent Luton Town podcast. 👍 Like the video, subscribe to the channel and let us know your thoughts in the comments. #LTFC #LutonTown #COYH Support Prostate United: https://prostateunited.prostatecanceruk.org/fundraising/luton-town-staff   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- *********SUPPORT US******** ☕🍺 Want to support They Tried To Kill Us Off? 👉 https://ko-fi.com/theytriedltfc   If you enjoy the podcast and want to help us keep it going, you can now support the show through our new Ko-fi account. 9 POINTS FROM 9?! 🤔 The Luton v Doncaster tactical battle | Match preview

CAN LUTON MAKE IT NINE POINTS FROM NINE? 🧡 Three home games in eight days. The first two won. Can Luton Town complete a perfect run under the Kenilworth Road floodlights when Doncaster Rovers visit on Tuesday night? Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to preview the latest Hatters test on They Tried To Kill Us Off, the award-nominated, longest-running Luton Town podcast. Doncaster are a different challenge to the teams Luton have faced recently, so what should Hatters manager Jack Wilshere expect — and how should he set his side up to get the job done? 🎙️ **IN THIS EPISODE:** 🔎 Doncaster's threats and the key players to watch 🧡 Whether Wilshere should make team changes after two home wins with a settled side 📊 The statistics that could influence the game — including Luton's record when they have less than 50 per cent possession 🎯 Where the Hatters can target Doncaster and how they can exploit potential weaknesses 🤔 Kev and Jimbo's score predictions “Doncaster are not a Bradford, not a Stevenage and they're not a Leicester, they're somewhere in-between.” And with the numbers suggesting Luton are more likely to win when they have less than half the possession, should the Hatters look to change the way they approach this one? Can Town make it three wins from three at home and keep the momentum building? 👇 **HAVE YOUR SAY** What changes, if any, would you make to the starting XI? GENIUS or STUPID?! PENALTY or NOT? HANDBAGS & GLAD MADS! | Luton 2 Barnsley 1 + Leicester preview

LUTON ARE BACK TO WINNING WAYS! 🙌 But did we witness a stroke of GENIUS or a bit of STUPIDITY?! Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look back on Luton's much-needed 2-1 victory over Barnsley at Kenilworth Road — and look ahead to Saturday's tricky test against Leicester City — all in one combined, packed episode of They Tried To Kill Us Off! The Hatters got the job done on Tuesday night, but what looked better about the performance? What still needs work? And did Luton get away with one when Barnsley appealed for a late penalty? We also debate some of Jack Wilshere's daring decisions, with Kev giving his verdict on whether they were good or bad. Mads Andersen scored and picked up the man-of-the-match award — after Kev had called for him to be benched! Or did he say he should play up front? Has the big Dane defender proved a point, and will Kev be eating his words? And what about the MASSIVE end-of-match handbags between players and staff after a confrontation between Wilshere and Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel? We're not supposed to love a football fracas… but let's be honest, we secretly do! 😂 Then it's on to the Foxes. The 2016 Premier League champions are next up at Kenilworth Road, but what makes them dangerous, and what will Luton need to get right to take all three points? Plus, we read YOUR comments, bring you the longest list of shoutouts in the three-year history of our video podcasts and make our score predictions! It's about resilience, sticking together and refusing to be beaten. Luton against the world. We think it perfectly captures what supporting this football club is all about. We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the Luton Town Supporters' Trust for their support over the past nine seasons and for helping us get to where we are today. We're incredibly grateful for everything we've been able to do together and we're delighted that the podcast can continue into this new chapter. And while this podcast channel remains exactly where it is, we've also got brand new social media accounts. We'd really appreciate it if you'd followed us there as well and join us for the next chapter: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheyTriedPod  Facebook: facebook.com/TheyTriedLTFC X: x.com/TheyTriedLTFC Instagram: instagram.com/TheyTriedLTFC
