Who is behind the new world order?'Chat Bot Short answer:  No verified group is “behind a planned New World Order.” The idea of a coordinated plot for world domination comes from conspiracy theories, not evidence. What does exist is a long, traceable history of how the phrase “new world order” was misunderstood, repurposed, and mythologised over two centuries.What the evidence actually shows1. The phrase began as normal diplomatic languageStatesmen like Woodrow Wilson and Winston Churchill used “new world order” to describe geopolitical shifts after major wars — not a secret plot. It meant new international arrangements, not a hidden government. 2. Conspiracy claims grew from older fears about secret societiesThe modern NWO narrative borrows heavily from 18th–19th‑century anxieties about the Illuminati and Freemasons, who were accused of hidden influence and political manipulation.
