CEE BEE PODCAST SEASON SIX | EPISODE ONE “BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD” Scripture Foundation: Psalm 46:1–11 (KJV) Theme: Finding Strength, Peace, and Faith in the Presence of Yahweh Host: Cee Bee Estimated Runtime: 5 minutes CEE BEE: Greetings, greetings, greetings! Welcome back to another powerful season of the Cee Bee Podcast! We have arrived at Season Six! Six seasons of inspiration. Six seasons of conversations. Six seasons of growing, learning, overcoming challenges, and discovering the power of faith. I’m your host, Cee Bee. And today, I want to speak directly to your spirit. Not your circumstances. Not your fears. Not your doubts. But to that place deep within you where faith lives, where courage rises, and where the presence of Yahweh reminds you that you are never alone. Because sometimes life gets loud. Sometimes the storms come without warning. Sometimes you find yourself fighting battles that nobody knows you’re fighting. And sometimes, even the strongest among us grow weary. But today, I want to share a message that has the power to change the way you face every storm. And that message is simple: BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. [Music fades. Pause for three seconds.] SEGMENT ONE — GOD IS OUR REFUGE Let me take you to the Book of Psalms, chapter 46, verse 1. The Word of Yahweh declares: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Now, I want you to think about those words. A very present help. Not a distant help. Not a help that arrives only when everything is going well. But a very present help in trouble! You see, brothers and sisters, Yahweh never promised that we would live a life without storms. He never promised that every road would be smooth. And He never promised that we would never experience hardship, sickness, disappointment, betrayal, or suffering. But what He has given us is the assurance of His presence. When the world turns its back on you, Yahweh is still there. When your strength begins to fade, Yahweh is still there. When the doctor’s report brings uncertainty, Yahweh is still there. When your finances become difficult and the future seems unclear, Yahweh is still there. And when you find yourself standing alone in the middle of life’s greatest battle, remember this: You may be standing alone in the eyes of the world, but you are never standing alone in the presence of God. [Pause. Gentle piano rises.] SEGMENT TWO — WHEN THE EARTH BEGINS TO SHAKE Psalm 46, verses 2 and 3, tell us: “Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.” Now listen carefully. The psalmist is describing a world that appears to be falling apart. Mountains moving. Waters roaring. The very foundations of the earth shaking. And yet, the declaration is: WE WILL NOT FEAR! Why? Because faith is not the absence of danger. Faith is the confidence that Yahweh remains sovereign even in the presence of danger. Some of you listening today are facing your own earthquakes. Your earthquake may be a health challenge. Your earthquake may be the loss of someone you love. Your earthquake may be financial hardship. Your earthquake may be a broken relationship or a season of spiritual uncertainty. But whatever your earthquake looks like, understand something. The same God who created the mountains is greater than the mountains that stand before you. The same God who commands the oceans is greater than the storm that surrounds you. And the same God who gave you life has not abandoned you in your struggles. Your circumstances may shake, but your faith can remain anchored. [Pause for five seconds.] SEGMENT THREE — BE STILL Now we come to one of the most powerful declarations in all of Scripture. Psalm 46, verse 10: “Be still, and know that I
