    Ymgysylltu â busnesau yn ein gwaith | Engaging Businesses in our work

    Croeso i'n cyfres o bodlediadau misol Ymgysylltu â'r Cyhoedd. Tiwniwch i mewn wrth i ni fynd ar daith i ddathlu'r gwaith pwysig o ymgysylltu â grwpiau cyhoeddus. Ymunwch â ni wrth i ni drafod a dathlu pynciau amrywiol - boed straeon ysbrydoledig neu drafodaethau sy'n ysgogi'r meddwl. Bydd cydweithwyr o bob cwr o'r Brifysgol yn ymuno â ni ynghyd â gwesteion arbennig i rannu eu profiadau, eu syniadau a’u harferion treiddgar. Yn y bennod hon, byddwn ni’n dysgu sut y gallwn ni ymgysylltu â busnesau drwy ein gwaith mewn Addysg Uwch, gan sicrhau bod anghenion busnesau yn cael eu hadlewyrchu, beth bynnag yw maint y sefydliad. Rydyn ni’n clywed gan gydweithwyr sydd wedi ymgysylltu'n llwyddiannus â'r cwricwlwm, yn dathlu eu gwaith ymgysylltu ac yn rhannu syniadau. Rydyn ni’n croesawu gwesteion arbennig o Gyngor Caerdydd ac o ysgol leol i ddeall yr heriau a'r cyfleoedd ar gyfer ein gwaith ymgysylltu ag ysgolion.     Welsh Labour and Radical Federalism

    In the run up to the Senedd & Holyrood elections, the Labour Party has started work on a number of projects aimed at remaking the way the UK works to provide a sustainable third way between independence and the status quo. The First Minister calls this 'home rule' and others are calling it 'Radical Federalism'. This discussion chaired by Professor Laura McAllister follows a proposal by the Radical Federalism project for a 'People's Convention' in Wales to lay the groundwork for a renegotiation of the union. Laura is joined by Mick Antoniw MS, Beth Winter MP, Prof. Kevin Morgan and Prof. James Mitchell.     The 2019 UK General Election saw the Conservative Party win a host of constituencies in Labour's heartlands of the North of England and North East Wales. These seats had become collectively known as 'The Red Wall' during the campaign and their loss was to cause the Labour Party to reflect seriously on its connection with many of these former industrial areas. To discuss the permanence (or not) of this change of allegiance and the societal, economic, and electoral factors that underpinned it, we are joined by Dr Thomas Prosser of Cardiff University, Phil Collins of The Draft and The New Statesman, and Paula Surridge of the University of Bristol and Deputy Director of the UK in a Changing Europe project.
