Ep. 167 Getting Hollyweird in the Savannah Theater with Ghost Coast Paranormal

This Halloween, Hollyweird Paranormal is heading to one of America’s most haunted cities , Savannah, Georgia, for an after-hours investigation inside the historic Savannah Theatre. Opened in 1818, this legendary theatre has survived more than 200 years of performances, devastating fires, a hurricane, tragedy, and countless people passing through its doors. But according to those who know the building best…some of them may have never left.   Back in August 2026,Tammie Merheb-Chavez and Tawney Lewis joined Micah Watkins and Courtney Knight of Ghost Coast Paranormal for an intimate investigation of the theatre, exploring its documented history and the stories of the spirits said to still roam backstage, the balcony, and its darkened stairwells. We meet Ben, the spirit of a young boy associated with a tragic 1948 fire; Betty, an actress said to still wait behind the curtain for her next performance; and Steven, a former stagehand and drummer whose presence is frequently reported backstage. And when we call out Steven’s name during our investigation…something appears on camera. 👀 We also dive into the Savannah Theatre’s incredible theatrical history, including its connection to Edwin Booth, Oscar Wilde, Lillian Russell, Henry Irving, Ellen Terry and even Dracula author Bram Stoker. So turn down the lights, put on your headphones, and join us as we step backstage after dark to ask the question: When the audience goes home and the curtain comes down…who’s still inside the Savannah Theatre? 👻🎭 Happy Halloween, Hollyweirdos! 🎃

WE’RE BACK FROM THE DEAD, HOLLYWEIRDOS! 👻🎬 Hollyweird Paranormal is officially rising from its hiatus just in time for spooky season—and we’re kicking things off with filmmaker, horror nerd, and director Alex Watts (Alexander Boyd Watson) of the upcoming horror-comedy Demonetize. We sit down with Alex to talk horror, filmmaking, ghost hunting, and the beautifully chaotic world of Demonetize a film about down-on-their-luck TV ghost hunters who team up with social media influencers in hopes of proving that ghosts are real. Because obviously, nothing could possibly go wrong with that combination… right? But we didn’t just TALK about ghosts!  Alex and members of the Demonetize cast and crew joined Tammie for an unforgettable real-life paranormal investigation at Artifact Tattoo & Piercing Studio in Santa Clarita, California and let’s just say one of the shop’s resident spirits may have taken a particular liking to one of the actresses. 👀👻 We’re talking horror movies, indie filmmaking, spooky encounters, laughs, and what happens when the people making a movie about ghost hunters actually go ghost hunting.  Plus, Tammie shares what’s next for Hollyweird Paranormal, upcoming paranormal investigations and live events around Los Angeles, and how you can join the weirdness yourself. 🎃 Demonetize premieres October 2 in Los Angeles. In this chilling episode of Hollyweird Paranormal, we head into the San Bernardino Mountains to investigate one of Big Bear’s most infamous landmarks, The Captain’s Anchorage.
