    The quarterbacks, left tackle and the other stories that matter after 10 days of training camp

    Saturday brought another surprise in the Browns quarterback battle as Deshaun Watson took all of the first-team reps. It came after head coach Todd Monken said less than 45 minutes before practice that Shedeur Sanders would get first-team reps. That’s where Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe start on their Day 10 Orange and Brown Talk recap podcast. What does it mean and how did Monken manage to mess up the messaging like he did?     Bonus quick pod: Browns quarterbacks put good and bad on display at Browns camp

    The Browns moved indoors for the first time for Day 9 of training camp. It gave us an up-close look at offense and the passing game and they were able to run a lot of plays, allowing Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson both to take plenty of shots. Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe recapped the day in Berea by discussing what they saw from the quarterbacks, including Sanders, Watson and Dillon Gabriel each throwing an interception.     Day 8 of Browns training camp brought the final day of installation and it also brought our first Hey, Mary Kay! edition of the Orange and Brown Talk podcast. Mary Kay Cabot and Dan Labbe took what was a mostly uneventful practice day as an opportunity to answer questions from our Football Insider subscribers. They start by answering a question about what Shedeur Sanders needs to do to beat out Deshaun Watson in the quarterback competition. Then they answer questions about the left tackle competition and how the offensive line could shake out over the course of training camp. They also discuss who could be the top wide receiver this season and if Jared Verse can get to 12 or more sacks before they try to come up with some Todd Monken moments from the head coach’s first training camp.     Shedeur Sanders has a good day leading the first-team offense, even if it was sloppy

    Browns training camp Day 6 brought more of the same in the quarterback competition and Shedeur Sanders, working with the first team, was the better quarterback on another sluggish day for the offense.     Should Todd Monken change up his quarterback rotation? + Defense shines on first day in pads

    Browns head coach Todd Monken has stuck to the script so far, alternating Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders with the first team in the ongoing quarterback competition. It has made for some sloppy days, including Monday, the first padded practice of training camp.     The Browns quarterback competition rolled on Saturday during Day 4 of training camp, and Shedeur Sanders had his best day.
