1001 Album Club

I would give it five stars, but please stop pouring drinks and putting ice into glasses in the microphones!!!!!

I’m only 150ish into this journey (or dumb idea of a project not sure which one) and while I’m doing the random generator instead of chronological…I’ve been going back and listening to those albums along with their group of friends whom I will never meet. So let me just be one to say thank you, not sure if you all did this podcast just because it is fun to be with one another - but it has truly been the highlight of this journey so far to experience, learn and laugh about this music along with you strangers. Keep it up and know that in addition to being such a positive addition to each other I’m sure, through this podcast you have been such a positive addition to the thousands others of us who are dumb enough to try to listen to all 1,001 (1,089) just as much as the music itself.

You can tell how old these guys are. They are fanboy of everything 90s alt, and don’t seem to get lots of stuff they didn’t listen to while in high school /college. And they are so sure of themselves as music critics, but it comes off as pretentious and snarky. And stop drinking on mic

For those users complaining about Birch’s stumbling while reading I believe he has intentionally slowed down their playback speed, listening at 1.25 sounds “normal”
