    ONCE AGAIN ITS ON!!!! S4 Episode 3

    It's that time again!! Time for the UAW Big 3: Ford, GM, and Stellantis (Chrysler) to negotiate our contract for the next 3 years. Last time I sat down with Mark McElroy to discuss these issues we were faced with and now 3 years later I'm joined with another great Union Rep. and union brother Rodney (also a childhood friend). This time the fight is different because as of 9/15/23 we are officially on STRIKE! A bottle neck strike might I add which is the 1st of its kind! History is being made right before our eyes! Listen as me and Rodney answer some questions people may have concerning the contract and hear the prospective from ACTUAL union workers involved in this fight! After listening I'm positive you will understand our fight and stand with the UAW in solidarity.

    Happy New Year! S4E2

    Do you start your New Year in the winter (January) or in the spring (March)? Me? SPRING!! So, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Let's jump right into Episode 2.     Ya'll thought I forgot?! Nope! I'm back with new episodes and a semi new direction of the podcast. One Girl One Mic Podcast is a "Lifestyle podcast, told through Hip Hop". With that being said, some new episodes will be 'artist based' to give us a chance to breakdown our favorite artist and have discussions. First up...Lil Wayne! In this season opener, JG and I sit down and break the GENIUS who is "Mr. Carter" down. How many careers does this man have in him? We start with this early career all the way up until now. Is Lil Wayne in your top 5? I'll be honest, I didn't realize he has been making hits for this long. His catalog is by far one of the greatest.     The Inspiration

    Welcome back! Man have I MISSED this mic! And MISSED ya'll! I've been busy being inspired. How much different is the world after Covid? Have you taken in everything different that's around you? Kendrick Lamar's new project dropped and the video for " The heart part 5" and I have never been so moved by a music video! #2. Season 3 of ATLANTA. In season 3 episode 4, we watch as regular white people pay regular black people a "restitution tax" for the sins of their ancestors....oh it's good ya'll!!! BTW....I'M BACK! New format coming soon!     Episode #40 ME AND MY POTNA!

    Hey Ya'll! We are at episode #40! Yay! So, you know it's only right LB bless the mic with her presence. OMG! So many laughs! I would apologize for the laughing but I'm not sorry. Listen as me and LB catch up on what's going on today, of course, we manage to discuss some very real issues as well. Ladies, are ya'll dating bisexual men? Black men, do ya'll really like black women or are we really good for "what we bring to the table?" So many times, LB and I have thought about recording our private talks because they really are good...well, here it is. Hope you enjoy 1girl1mic

    Episode #39: Third time is a charm

    WHEW!!! OK, ya'll I was finally able to get this male platonic friendship episode done! The 1st two attempts didn't go BAAADD but nah, I had to bring in my High School male BFF!! Rodney!! And man did we unpack some stuff!! iLL Will joined us along with his nephew Nygel, who was able to give his insight from a younger perspective. My brother missed his episode and decided to join in on the conversation as well. Great episode! After recording these episodes my opinion on male and female platonic friendships has totally changed. Men really do wait YEARS to smash! Whole time we thinking that's our "brother" he waiting for the perfect time to slide in the panties! What is your opinion?     Episode #38: Mixtape Weezy, is that you again?

    I start off solo, then my Girl showed up! Ya'll know who!!! None other than LB!!! LB blessed us with her great energy as we chop it up about music. Have ya'll noticed Lil Wayne has been SNAPPING lately?!! I mean SHEESH!!! Could we be witnessing the greatest rap come back of all time? Both LB and JG agree that we can't determine that until he puts out a project, I have to respect that opinion. I'll gladly sit on the sidelines and be a witness, cause somebody has to tell the story, and I'll be right with my mic...TELLING IT! I also propose that Icewear Vezzo is the official rep for Detroit rappers, lol!!! How ya'll feel about that? And you KNOW we had to break down Jay Z verse on Kayne West project "Donda".
