    Woven | Lesson 6 | Unshakeable | Kristin Peterson

Real life is real hard, and Scripture never pretends otherwise. In this lesson we turn to the book of Job to find wisdom for walking through suffering with faith intact. Job lost everything and yet never let go of God. Through his story we discover what it looks like to endure: being honest with God, refusing to quit, and anchoring our hope not in our circumstances changing but in the unchanging character of a God who redeems. Suffering is never the end of the story for those who trust Him. “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.” Job 19:25 (ESV) Semester Study Guide: Woven Study Workbook | Sisterhood at River Valley Semester Handout: “I am in Christ” Statements | Sisterhood at River Valley Personal Application  What is one thing you will do differently after hearing this lesson? What has the Lord revealed to you this week while you declare the “I Am in Christ” statements out loud?  With 11 campuses meeting each week and a virtual group for our online campus, we'd love to see you at one of our Sisterhood groups. Woven | Lesson 5 | Sealed | Pastor Karla Johnson

From the garden to the cross, God has been relentlessly pursuing His people through covenant, a sworn relationship of loyal, unbreakable commitment. In this lesson we trace that thread through Scripture, from Adam to Noah, Abraham to Moses to David, seeing how every covenant was pointing to Jesus all along. At the heart of each one is not a legal transaction but a loving Father who initiates, pursues, and takes on the responsibility His people never could. The debt has been paid. The covenant has been sealed. And it cost Jesus everything. "This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood." Woven | Lesson 4 | Bridged | Pastor Daralee Utecht

From the moment sin entered the world, a gap opened between humanity and God, and every altar, every sacrifice, and every priest was God's way of saying I am still making a way back to you. In this lesson we trace the story of the priesthood all the way to Jesus, the perfect High Priest who didn't just bridge the gap, He closed it forever. Because of Him, you can approach the throne of grace with confidence, boldness, and full assurance. Not because of anything you've done, but because of everything He has. For there is one God, one mediator also between God and Men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 (NASB)  Semester Study Guide: Woven Study Workbook | Sisterhood at River Valley Semester Handout: “I am in Christ” Statements | Sisterhood at River Valley Personal Application  What is one thing you will do differently after hearing this lesson? What has the Lord revealed to you this week while you declare the “I Am in Christ” statements out loud?  With 11 campuses meeting each week and a virtual group for our online campus, we'd love to see you at one of our Sisterhood groups. Woven | Lesson 3 | Dwelling | Emily Pahl

From the very beginning, God’s heart has always been to dwell with His people. In this lesson, we’ll trace that beautiful thread through Scripture, from the Garden of Eden, to the Tabernacle, to the Temple, all the way to the moment the veil was torn in two at the death of Jesus. Every step of the story was pointing to Him, the true Temple, who made a way for us to have full access to God. And the most breathtaking part? God doesn’t just want to be near us, He actually lives in us. We have become a carrier of His presence. “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 (ESV)  Semester Study Guide: Woven Study Workbook | Sisterhood at River Valley Semester Handout: “I am in Christ” Statements | Sisterhood at River Valley Personal Application  What is one thing you will do differently after hearing this lesson? What has the Lord revealed to you this week while you declare the “I Am in Christ” statements out loud?  With 11 campuses meeting each week and a virtual group for our online campus, we'd love to see you at one of our Sisterhood groups. Woven | Lesson 2 | Rooted | Pastor Lindsay Willis

We’re continuing our study within our curriculum of “Woven”. This week we look into how in the very first pages of Scripture, God created a world overflowing with goodness and invited humanity to partner with Him, live by His wisdom and reflect His image. But when humans chose their own way over God’s, a pattern of rebellion took hold that no human could break, until Jesus. This lesson traces that story from the Garden of Eden to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus, the Last Adam, chose God’s will over His own and turned the tree of death into the tree of life. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:22 (NIV) Semester Study Guide: Woven Study Workbook | Sisterhood at River Valley Semester Handout: “I am in Christ” Statements | Sisterhood at River Valley Personal Application  What is one thing you will do differently after hearing this lesson? What has the Lord revealed to you this week while you declare the “I Am in Christ” statements out loud?  With 11 campuses meeting each week and a virtual group for our online campus, we'd love to see you at one of our Sisterhood groups.
