That Killer Podcast!

First time listener on the scream commentary episode. I listen to it while at work without watching the movie however I know this movie by heart so it was easy to follow along.. definitely enjoyed; all though I wish Hanna would have commented more given the fact this was her favorite movie and first time guest. Good job! I wouldn’t be mad at another movie commentary episode if the movie was a classic.

I just listened to the Hereditary episode and was very impressed with the discussion on the film. They did fantastic work pointing out what made the film great and the plot problems that held it back. The podcasters have a great back and forth with each other. They offer great insights but always keep an attitude of a few friends who are hanging out and discussing movies. I do believe the podcast could benefit from one or two more voices to add different perspectives for better debates. Though it would have to be a voice that gels with the other podcasters in the same casual way they do now, which may not be possible. Also, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for one of the podcasters to have IMDB handy. There have been a few mistakes that could’ve been easily avoided if one of them was looking at the movie’s page. The podcast also works much better when the podcasters are a bit less emotionally attached to the film they are discussing. There was an episode on Scream that had a lot of great positive commentary and personal stories but lacked the same kind of dissection that was so great in other episodes. This podcast is a fun and interesting listen if you’re a true horror movie fan. I highly recommend.
