"I’ve picked some tunes I’ve enjoyed recently and over the last few years. as I’m in to such a wide range of electronic music, I often think use the analogy of a radio station to construct playlists and mixes - as in, crafting music to form a journey over the day, as a radio station has to do. so this a taste of that - think of it as the early morning slot on psc.fm - blissed out and soundtracking those still awake from the night before." poolsideconvo is crafting a fresh kind of UK-influenced electronic landscape where emotional gravity meets rhythm, where introspection sits comfortably beside groove, and where the after-hours feeling is front and centre. He fuses moody post-dubstep textures, UK garage/house grooves and intimate after hours atmospheres into a sound he describes as “photographic”. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Burial, Jamie xx and the UK bass/garage scene. His tracks have garnered editorial playlist support on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, alongside radio plays from BBC & Sirius XM and features on tastemaker platforms. With a growing live presence across underground London nights and UK events, he’s quietly building momentum and inviting listeners into his twilight-zone world of late-night reflections and early-morning conversations. Mix 186 - Ginoooo! (Hong Kong)

Head to mnrchy.com/store Ginoooo! is a rising selector, party organiser, photographer and artist born and raised in Hong Kong and newly relocated to one of the creative capitals of the UK, Bristol. Inspired by his love for blues, jazz, soul, and funk, the signature sound of his mix is often intensely sentimental, vibrant and rhythmic. Making his official stage debut at 21, he has shared the stage at local music festivals and clubs with international musicians and other local DJ legends, including Yu Hagiwara and DJ Kulu. Moving to the UK in 2024, he made his appearance and is actively bringing his unique, contagious energy to the South West. After completing his Bachelor of Psychology and Master of Behavioural Science, he drew implications from his knowledge to emphasise the importance of community and public mental health, and decided to dedicate his love for music and art to community building and experience design. In this guest mix, he incorporated some of the classic tracks that elucidated his idea of house and dance music, with his personal touch of Hong Kong dance music.
