Don Bosco and the Third Secret of Fatima

Watch the video: https://youtu.be/fxTOiaepk6U Read the Three Secrets of Fatima: https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/devotions/third-apparition-of-our-lady-23365 The Third Secret of Fatima: At the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from Her right hand. Pointing to the earth with his right hand, the angel cried out in a loud voice: "Penance, Penance, Penance!"   And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a bishop dressed in white ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other bishops, priests, men and women religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins, and half trembling, with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other bishops, priests, men and women religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions.   Beneath the two arms of the cross there were two angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God. [End of Prophecy] Sources for Don Bosco's prophecies are taken from "The Biographical Memoirs of Saint John Bosco" by Fr. Giovanni Battista Lemoyne et al. 200 Days March Prophecy - Volume 10, Chapter 1, Page 55: It was a dark night (here Don Bosco wrote, “error”), and men could no longer find their way back to their own countries. Suddenly a most brilliant light shone in the sky, illuminating their way as at high noon (here he wrote “faith in God and in His power”). At that moment from the Vatican came forth, as in procession, a multitude of men and women, young children, monks, nuns, and priests, and at their head was the Pope (here he writes, “it seems to allude to the suppression of monasteries and schools run by religious and to the Pope's exile”). But a furious storm then broke out, somewhat dimming that light, as if light and darkness were locked in battle (here he wrote, “perhaps this means a battle between truth and error, or else a bloody war”). Meanwhile the long procession reached a small square littered with dead and wounded, many of whom cried for help. The ranks of the procession thinned considerably. After a two-hundred-day march, all realized that they were no longer in Rome. In dismay they swarmed about the Pontiff to protect him and minister to him in his needs. At that moment two angels appeared, bearing a banner which they presented to the Supreme Pontiff, saying: "Take the banner of Her who battles and routs the most powerful armies on earth. Your enemies have vanished; with tears and sighs your children plead for your return." One side of the banner bore the inscription: Regina sine labe concepta [Queen conceived without sin], and the other side read: Auxilium Christianorum [Help of Christians]. The Pontiff accepted the banner gladly, but he became very distressed to see how few were his followers. But the two angels went on: "Go now, comfort your children. Write to your brothers scattered throughout the world that men must reform their lives. This cannot be achieved unless the bread of the Divine Word is broken among the peoples. Teach children their catechism and preach detachment from earthly things. The time has come," the two angels concluded, "when the poor will evangelize the world. Priests shall be sought among those who wield the hoe, the spade, and the hammer, as David prophesied: 'God lifted the poor man from the fields to place him on the throne of the princes of His people.' " On hearing this, the Pontiff moved on, and the ranks began to swell. Upon reaching the Holy City, the Pontiff wept at the sight of its desolate citizens, for many of them were no longer. He then entered St. Peter's and intoned the Te Deum, to which a chorus of angels responded, singing: Gloria in excelsis Deo et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis [Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth to men of good will]. When the song was over, all darkness vanished and a blazing sun shone. The population had declined greatly in the cities and in the countryside; the land was mangled as if by a hurricane and hailstorm, and people sought each other, deeply moved, and saying: Est Deus in Israel [There is God in Israel]. From the start of the exile until the intoning of the Te Deum, the sun rose two hundred times. All the events described covered a period of four hundred days. [End of Prophecy] 1870 Franco-Prussian War Prophecy - Volume 9 Chapter 61, Page 372: Now the voice of Heaven spoke to the Shepherd of Shepherds: You are in the great conference with your assessors. But the enemy of goodness does not stand still a moment. He studies and practices all arts against you. He shall sow discord among your assessors. He shall stir up enemies among my children. The powers of the age shall vomit fire—if only the words could choke the throats of the keepers of my law. This will not be. They will hurt themselves. You must hurry. If you do not overcome the difficulties, sever them. If you are distressed, do not stop, but continue until the head of the hydra of error is truncated. This blow will shake the Earth and Hell, but the world will be saved, and all who are good will rejoice. Gather around you, therefore, even two assessors. But wherever you go, continue and finish the work that was entrusted to you. The days run fast. Your years advance to the appointed number. But the great Queen will always be your help. As in times past, in the future, she will always be Magnum et singular in Ecclesia presidium, the powerful, prodigious defense of the Church.   The voice of Heaven continued: But you, Italy, land of blessings, who has plunged you into desolation? Not your enemies, but your friends. Don’t you hate that your children ask for the bread of faith and find none to break it for them? What shall I do? I will strike the shepherds and scatter the flock so that those sitting on the chair of Moses may seek good pastures while the flock meekly listens and feed. But my hand will hover over the flock and the shepherds. Famine, plague, and war will cause mothers to mourn the blood of sons and husbands who have died in enemy lands.   And for you, O Rome, what shall it be? Ungrateful Rome, effeminate Rome, haughty Rome! You have come to the point where you only seek and admire nothing but luxury in your independence, forgetting that your and his glory rests on Golgotha. Now the Venerable Old Man of Rome is old, frail, and defenseless, yet his word makes the whole world tremble.   The voice of Heaven said: Rome! I will come four times to you!   On the first visit, I will smite your lands and their inhabitants.   On the second visit, I will bring slaughter and extermination to your walls. Have you not yet opened your eyes?   On the third visit, I will break down the defenses and defenders. I will rain down terror, fright, and desolation at the Father’s command.   My wise men will flee, but my law will still be trampled so that I will make the fourth visitation. Woe to you if you still take my law in vain! There will be deceptions between the learned and the ignorant. Your blood and your children’s blood shall wash away the stains you have caused to the law of your God.   War, plague, and famine are the scourges with which the pride and malice of humanity shall be beaten. Where are your magnificent mansions and palaces? They have become the garbage of the squares and streets!   But you, O priests, why do you not run and weep between the vestibule and the altar, praying for the end of the scourges? Why do you not take the shield of faith and go on the rooftops, into the houses, the streets, the squares, every place, even those inaccessible, to bring the seed of my word? Are you unaware that this terrible two-edged sword cuts down my enemies and breaks the wrath of God and man?   These things must come relentlessly, one after another.   Things happen too slowly.   But the August Queen of Heaven is present, and the power of the Lord is in her hands. She scatters her enemies like mist. She clothes the Venerable Old Man of Rome in all his ancient garments.   A violent hurricane will come again. Iniquity is at an end, sin will cease—and before two full moons in the month of flowers pass, the rainbow of peace will appear on Earth.   The great minister will see the bride of his king dressed in festive garb.   The entire world shall see a sun brighter than the flames that appeared in the Upper Room on Pentecost, nor shall it be seen again until the last of days. The Strangest Disappearance in Scotland's History

Watch the lighthouse video: https://youtu.be/866HC7g8ba8 Though three men dwell on Flannan Isle To keep the lamp alight, As we steered under the lee, we caught No glimmer through the night. Aye: though we hunted high and low, And hunted everywhere, Of the three men’s fate we found no trace, Of any kind in any place, But a door ajar, and an untouched meal, And an overtoppled chair. "Flanan Isle" by Wilfrid Wilson Gibson The Flannan Isles Lighthouse was operational for a little over a year when the Keepers disappeared in December of 1900. Off the Scottish coast and 21 miles west of the Isle of Lewis, lay the Flannan Isles named after St. Flannan the Confessor. He was of Irish nationality, but the precise period at which he lived is uncertain. What is known is that he became a monk at the monastery of Killaloe, and made a pilgrimage to Rome where Pope John IV consecrated him the first bishop of Killaloe. He was of noble birth, the son of King of Thomond in Ireland, who followed Flannan's example of holiness by later retiring and entering a monastery himself. The largest of these seven islands, at 38 acres, is Eilean Mor (meaning simply, “Big Island”). Here you can find the ruins of a chapel built by St. Flannan himself, which definitely indicates that the saint resided there at some period. The Flannan Islands have always been regarded by the people of Lewis with great veneration and pilgrims used to process around the chapel on their knees in prayer. Now the lighthouse is also situated on the same island as the chapel: its beam stretching forth to be seen as far 20 miles away. During the Lighthouse’s operation, fortnightly reliefs were carried out until the disaster of December 1900. Prior to the discovery that the men were missing, the light had not been seen on the islands from the nearest point on Lewis, 16 miles away, for 10 days. At the time three Lightkeepers were on duty at the lighthouse: James Ducat, Thomas Marshall, and Donald McArthur. There was one other Assistant Lightkeeper, Joseph Moore, but he was on shore duty in Brisklet. A steamer passing the lighthouse around midnight on December 15th noted that the light was not lit and recounted this when they arrived at port. However, this fact was not communicated to the Commissioners and the disappearance of the keepers was only discovered as a result of the routine visit by the Lighthouse Tender ship Hesperus, on December 26th, 1900.
