Low volume
Volume is much lower on this podcast than others- even your commercials are much louder. Can you guys sort that? I’d really like to enjoy it w/out straining. I listen while doing my chores. 🙂
Love HeirPod and Omid but...
I listen to the podcast frequently but I am always left disappointed. Omid is fantastic! The effort he puts into his work is clear. He is adept at his trade bringing first-rate analysis to Royal news. He has a unique and valuable voice in this arena.
His partner, on the other hand, adds no value. If anything, she hurts the podcast. I am assuming her function is to bring an element of levity to the podcast but she just comes across as ditzy, trivial, and infantile. She offers nothing but shallow assessments and childish banter that I could frankly do without. She seems not to possess any material knowledge of the topics or UK culture. Speaking as an American, her ignorance is intolerable. When she opens her mouth, the podcast suffers.
Cringeworthy
I think Maggie obviously seems like a lovely person but her input feels cringeworthy at times. The dynamic between her and Omid is really quite awkward and makes it difficult to listen. As an American, I don’t think it’s fair the way others have characterized her in the ratings but I do agree that her input doesn’t bring much value to the content being shared. I think it would serve the podcast better to have a different correspondent with Omid or possibly even guest correspondents.
