The Counsel of Trent

Trent covers serious topics but doesn’t take himself too seriously. (No performative cigar smoking to be found here.) I enjoy the bits of humor interspersed in his monologues, especially on Fridays.

Doesn’t waste your time with rambling like other podcasts and gets right to the point of the topic. Well-researched and really informative. I definitely feel more knowledgeable about the faith.

You always try to be super charitable with pro choicers, Prots, Muslims, gays, etc, but you just slander and dump on traditionalists, integralists, and groypers all day long. It’s such a double standard how you’ll talk to anyone except the growing movement of people who agree with you on most things, but you just won’t even listen to them fairly. This is why they seem angry and alienated, you intentionally anger and alienate them.

The episodes are short and sweet easier to listen to than most. Trent is respectful and defends the faith well. Never stop
