    The Next Voice You Hear

"I am with you, always. It was a male voice. I immediately thought, Wait, I have more questions." ---------- What if God spoke on every radio and television station in the world? That's the premise of the 1950 movie The Next Voice You Hear, starring James Whitmore and Nancy Davis, the future Nancy Reagan. His messages confront disbelief and promise miracles. While watching the movie recently, I thought of our listener, Alice. 30+ years ago, she had a particularly interesting moment with the voice. What really happens when the next voice you hear, is His? ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. The SECOND Prayer from Joe's Heart

Joe is 50, looks 35, and prays like he is eight! ---------- Joe had reached the top of the horse world. Then his marriage, business, and home fell apart. On a dark day in Ireland, with little hope left, he stepped outside and prayed: "Lord Jesus, if you're there, I need your help." What Joe says he saw in the sky sent him searching for a personal relationship with Jesus. That search led him to Medjugorje--and into conversations and prayers that would change other lives, too. Joe's stories are bold, sometimes startling, and full of the childlike trust he has learned to bring to God, one simple prayer at a time. ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. "I'm Not a Believer, I'm a Knower," says Blind Jeff

"As a nine-year-old in the ER, I was observing everything from above, the absolute panic, and hysteria. But I was at peace and felt the sensation of being cradled."  ---------- Jeff and I have more in common than blindness. Born without sight, Jeff was still an infant when his parents and church elders gathered around him in prayer--and something changed. Years later, overwhelmed by stress and trauma, nine-year-old Jeff died, watched doctors work on his body, and encountered a peace he has never forgotten. But restored sight and a return from death were not his greatest miracles. Jeff shares how God freed him from memories, resentment, and unforgiveness, then orchestrated an impossible meeting at the scene of his daughter's accident. Through every time in the wilderness, Jeff says, God has never been absent. ---------- Link to music mentioned during interview:  https://youtu.be/1E7IG7yvdjw?si=5U5UDuvNsULvaAlD  ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. The Handshake He Never Wanted

How many times must I forgive? Seven times? 77 times? In Jim's case, it was not once, in 20 years. -------- For 20 years, Jim remained angry with a woman who had fought his decision to fire her and taken him to court. Then, while praying before Mass, God brought her unexpectedly--and unmistakably--back into his mind. Forgive her. Jim had been thinking about forgiving someone else, but apparently God wanted to begin here. So, Jim made a bargain with God, attaching his forgiveness to one highly unlikely condition involving the sign of peace. It was the kind of condition that could never actually be met--or so Jim thought. What happened next taught him just how serious God is about forgiveness. ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. 16 Firefighters Riding for 343 Heroes

"By the grace of God, I would have been standing right there where they died, in the World Trade Center." ---------- Sixteen current and retired firefighters are riding 3,600 miles from the San Francisco Bay Area to Brooklyn to commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11. Among them is Danny Sheridan, who first appeared in Episode 110 to share the many ways angels protected him throughout his firefighting career. After welcoming the riders to the Medina, Ohio, firehouse, we spoke with Danny, David, and Phil about why they ride, the 343 firefighters who died as the World Trade Center towers collapsed, and the brotherhood of those called to save lives. ---------- Last Chance to Register - Join Us October 2026 for a Pilgrimage to Medjugorje We invite you to embark with us this October 10th to 18th on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje--one of the most grace-filled and spiritually uplifting places we've ever encountered. God's Unmarked Detours - TBH 434

"I looked to my right, and I saw a red pickup truck. He is so close to my car that he's in my car. I'm looking and thinking, Wait, I should be feeling something and hearing metal." ---------- Three women discover that when God wants to get you somewhere--or get someone to you--He apparently is not opposed to directing traffic. Heidi had barely processed her own impossible "car driving through a car" encounter when she heard the same thing described on this podcast. Apparently, this really is a thing. Carrie's moment behind the wheel was different but equally mysterious: a blinding storm, a narrow two-lane road, no shoulder and nowhere to stop. "Jesus, I can't see!" she cried. Then a concrete driveway appeared exactly where she needed it--although she has never been able to find it again. From there, Carrie's road leads unexpectedly into a love story, which brings us to Nancy, a powerhouse weightlifter who could handle some very heavy things herself. Finding the man of her dreams, however, required a little assistance from angels. ---------- Join Us October 2026 for a Pilgrimage to Medjugorje We invite you to embark with us this October 10th to 18th on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje--one of the most grace-filled and spiritually uplifting places we've ever encountered. What Does God Sound Like?

"While sitting on the school bus, I looked out the window and saw a tall lanky boy and suddenly heard a voice in my right ear, 'That's the one!' I turned toward the voice, and no one was there." ---------- Elijah was trying to hear God in the wind, fire, and earthquake. Which to us, sounds like today's episode… Did another car just pass through a person? Where did that perfectly placed $20 bill come from when Kimberly had no money for gas? And what about the 13-year-old girl who heard three words about a boy… words she wouldn't understand until years later? Then there's Janelle, the surfer God seemingly moved heaven and earth to send across an ocean, only to give her no waves. Maybe the question isn't whether God is speaking. Maybe it's whether we recognize what He sounds like. ---------- Join Us October 2026 for a Pilgrimage to Medjugorje We invite you to embark with us this October 10th to 18th on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje--one of the most grace-filled and spiritually uplifting places we've ever encountered. God is Good... But Not Very Nice - TBH 432

"I was at the bookstore and out of the corner of my eye I saw a book inching its way to the edge of the shelf, teetering, then falling to my feet, face up. And there she was." ---------- Dr. Cyndi Peterson had everything she thought should make her happy, yet something was missing. Then, a mysterious dream, a book about Medjugorje falling at her feet, and extraordinary encounters with God, transformed her faith. But then came unimaginable losses. And a feeling that God had turned against her. Angry and feeling betrayed, Cyndi finally confronted God: "I really can't trust You."
