    There's a lot of shady activity happening in Alaska right now regarding the midterm election, prompting Alaska's governor to order an investigation after a NYT report on an alleged Dem-linked Senate election plan. Governor Kathy Hochul and gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman are closing in on who will take the governor's seat in New York, and the two are attacking each other's actions more deeply as November 3rd gets closer. Congestion pricing could be a huge factor in Kathy Hochul's possible reelection, which could swing votes. Barack Obama's comments on the Cheesecake Factory continue to spark controversy and raise questions about his character. DoorDash is buying Instacart for billions of dollars.  The cable news networks have seen a decline in viewership over the years; however, some networks and shows remain at the top, like ABC World News Tonight with David Muir, which attracts many viewers. The Federal Reserve has decided to hold interest rates steady after yesterday's meeting. The economy so far has been doing well.  Mark interviews WOR weeknight host Jimmy Failla. Mark and Jimmy talk about Obama's comments on the Cheesecake Factory, which Obama may not have known is a restaurant many people enjoy eating at.
