    Alison Brie on Masters of the Universe, Evil-Lyn's Power & Entering Her Villain Era

    If you’re looking at a “shows canceled too soon” list, there’s a good chance Netflix’s GLOW is on it. The Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch-created series first debuted on Netflix in 2017, and quickly had viewers falling in love with its electric ensemble packed with a wide array of big personalities. Alison Brie’s Ruth Wilder is a struggling actor who scores a rather unusual opportunity. In 1985, Ruth is cast in the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. It's a show that's the first of its kind — a wrestling television show featuring all female wrestlers. Ruth and the rest of the cast, including Betty Gilpin’s Debbie, Gayle Rankin’s Sheila, Jackie Tohn’s Melrose, and Sydelle Noel’s Cherry, take their underdog wrestling production on an epic roller coaster ride that lands them in Las Vegas, performing GLOW matches live. Season 3 ends with a glimmer of hope for getting GLOW back on television, but we never got to see if Debbie and Bash’s (Chris Lowell) plan panned out because Netflix canceled GLOW in October 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, despite having renewed it for a fourth and final season. Not only are fans still thinking about GLOW seven years after it wrapped its run, but so are the show’s stars, like Alison Brie. While on the press circuit promoting her new movie, Masters of the Universe, Brie carved out the time to make her second appearance on Collider Ladies Night, and while discussing scene partners who made an indelible impression on her, she was moved to tears recalling her collaboration with GLOW co-star, Betty Gilpin.     Karen Rodriguez has appeared on a handful of popular shows, but in just a few years, she’s found herself right smack in the middle of two of the biggest hits as a series regular. First came Netflix’s The Hunting Wives, the series adaptation of May Cobb’s hugely popular novel. Whereas headliners like Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman are leaning into the extremes of the characters' situation — and to great effect — Rodriguez tackles the task of serving as the show’s grounded heart, Deputy Wanda Salazar. Rodriguez made such a big impression doing that that she was made a series regular for the second season, which is due out in the fall.     The Boys Finale: Erin Moriarty on Annie’s Ending, Hughie, The Deep Fight & Season 5

    Seven years and five seasons later, Erin Moriarty’s run on The Boys has come to a close. Every single step of the way, The Boys kept us on our toes, ensuring we were well aware that the happiness and fate of our favorite characters was constantly in jeopardy. After four seasons of non-stop fights, setbacks with their mission, and growing self-doubt, Moriarty’s Annie teeters into a state of nihilism in the final season. As Moriarty put it, “We see her sort of questioning whether her own existence on Earth is the way that she's able to achieve what she wants to achieve, or is maybe sacrificing herself the way that she makes the world a better place?” With a little help from those around her, like MM (Laz Alonso) in Episode 6 and Marie (Jaz Sinclair) a few times in the tail end of the season, Annie manages to power through this identity crisis. Not only does she help The Boys finally see their main mission through to fruition, but she lands in a spot where she’s ready and eager to contribute to creating a promising future for others, including her own child.     One Piece Season 2: Mikaela Hoover Explains Chopper’s Ending & Season 3 Evolution

    Mikaela Hoover is in the midst of a well-earned banner year. She’s made memorable appearances in a number of projects over the years, including scene-stealing work as Floor in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3, but her run in 2025 and 2026 is putting her in the spotlight in the way she deserves. Soon after making her debut as Cat Grant in James Gunn’s Superman, she appeared in the highly anticipated second season of Lee Sung Jin’s Beef as Ava. As though that project pairing isn’t impressive enough, Hoover also joined the ensemble of one of the most popular series out there right now, Netflix’s live-action One Piece. Even though Hoover appeared on Collider Ladies Night a mere year ago, there was so much more to discuss given all that she’s accomplished in a single calendar year. After discussing her unforgettable key scenes in Beef Season 2, we dug deep into the process of voicing and doing the facial capture performance for one of the most beloved One Piece characters, Tony Tony Chopper.     Karen Fukuhara Reacts to Kimiko’s Ending in The Boys Finale

    Editor's Note: The following contains spoilers for the series finale of The Boys. The Boys aired its Season 5 finale, "Blood and Bone," which also marks the series finale of Prime Video's superhero satire. While most fans either stayed up until midnight or hit theaters to see the showdown between Homelander (Antony Starr) and Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), "Blood and Bone" also revealed the fate of the rest of the titular band of vigilantes. Chief among them is Kimiko Miyashiro (Karen Fukuhara), formerly known as "The Female." Though Kimiko does have a bittersweet ending, it's a far better fate than what happened to her in the comics. While speaking to Collider's Perri Nemiroff for her series, Ladies Night, Fukuhara opened up about the finale, which sees Kimiko play a major part due to gaining the same radioactive abilities that Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) had; she uses said abilities to strip Homelander and Butcher of their powers, allowing Butcher to finally kill his hated archenemy. To harness her new powers, Kimiko envisions Frenchie (Tomer Capone) speaking to her, which Fukuhara said brought her character's arc full circle. Written by Collier Jennings Hosted on Acast.     Obsession Star Inde Navarrette Explains What's Really Happening to Nikki

    Inde Navarrette’s work in Obsession is shaping up to be the biggest breakout performance of 2026. Curry Barker's film kicked off its run at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival where Focus Features was smart enough to act fast and scoop up the distribution rights. From there, buzz continued to build at Fantastic Fest 2025, the movie earned one rave review after the next at early screenings, and now the movie hits theaters nationwide with a significant amount of fanfare at its back. Obsession currently sits at a 94% on the Tomatometer, 95% on the Popcornmeter, has an A- CinemaScore, and is already being dubbed a modern horror classic. Yet another Obsession talking point that’s gaining more and more traction? Navarrette delivers an awards-worthy performance in the film. Michael Johnston leads Obsession as Bear, a guy with a crush on a girl who doesn’t share the same feelings. That girl is Navarrette’s Nikki. In an effort to win her over, Bear buys Nikki a novelty gift to give when he confesses his true feelings for her. Trouble is, he doesn’t have the courage to go through with it and, instead, uses the gift himself. He wishes that Nikki loves him more than anyone in the world and then snaps his One Wish Willow. Much to Bear’s surprise, the Willow works and he gets the girl of his dreams. But, it comes at a cost. What exactly does the One Wish Willow do to Nikki?
