    Jesus Is Greater. What Are You Trusting Him With? | The Follow Up | Hebrews 1:1–4

    If Jesus holds everything together, what are you still trying to handle on your own? The Follow Up is back. Bill Van Kirk, Jack Guerra, and Adam Jackson open a new season with Hebrews 1:1–4 and Spring Lake Church’s Greater Than series. They explore what the opening verses say about Jesus—and why those truths matter when life feels uncertain. The conversation moves from the historical setting of Hebrews to the difference between knowing the Jesus revealed in Scripture and imagining a Jesus who simply fits our preferences. The pastors also discuss Hebrews as a word of exhortation, why the book’s opening reads like a powerful opening statement, and how the series can deepen our trust in Christ. In this season’s first Deep Dive, Bill traces how God makes himself known through creation, the patriarchs, Moses, and the prophets, culminating in Jesus.
