The missing link isn't more authority—it's diligence. Drawing from Proverbs 12, we discover that 'the hand of the diligent shall bear rule.' The sermon unpacks Adam's original failure in the Garden of Eden, revealing that his problem wasn't a lack of dominion but a lack of diligence in guarding what God had entrusted to him. Just as Adam was told to 'dress it and keep it,' we're called to violently protect the garden of our hearts and minds. This isn't about physical aggression but spiritual vigilance—being quick to cast down every thought that exalts itself against God's truth. The challenge is clear: stop being passive with the enemy's lies, stop mind-dealing with worry and fear, and start aggressively taking every thought captive. When we become diligent about stewarding our authority, speaking to our mountains, and refusing to give the enemy 'mind space,' we move from merely having authority to actually walking in dominion.
