    Jumbled Up in the EAST

The Prophets are back to break down the Eastern Conference! Kev and Rashad discuss which teams won’t be around when the playoff picture takes shape, including the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, and Brooklyn Nets.  Kev explains why he’s high on Scottie Barnes and the Toronto Raptors, while Rashad pumps the brakes on the newly revamped Washington Wizards. Can their new look translate into real success, or is there still work to be done? Plus, do the Miami Heat really have enough to compete with the East’s best? The guys debate the biggest questions, make their predictions, and finish things off by picking their NBA Finals representatives. F.O.M.O. in the West

Rashad and Keven are breaking down the shake-up out West ahead of the upcoming NBA season! We’re starting with the teams that are OUT of the mix, and Rashad might’ve found a 🔒 under bet worth keeping an eye on. Then it’s time to separate the locks from the Play-IN. Portland or the LeBron-less Lakers? The Prophets have ONE difference between them, and we’re breaking down why either team could be a lock to make some noise this season. And finally… it’s BAD news for Dub Nation. 🗣️ The Prophets are officially putting the Warriors on notice. STUCK! Week 1 & the Prophet Playoff Theory Revealed

Kev and Rashad kick off the 2026 NFL season by breaking down everything Week 1 had to offer — the biggest surprises, statement wins, disappointments, and the teams that may have already changed the way we look at them heading into Week 2. From the Bears putting up 59, to the Bills making a statement against Houston, the Giants shocking Dallas, and plenty of teams already giving us reasons to believe… or panic. Then it’s time to put the Prophet Playoff Theory to work. The guys revisit exactly what goes into the theory and reveal the current playoff list. How does the formula see the NFL compared to Kev and Rashad? Where do their personal playoff predictions line up with the theory, and where do they completely disagree? Which teams are being validated, which teams are already on upset alert, and who could crash the playoff party?  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/preach-kev-preach-w-rashad--2977392/support.

    Theory Continues: 2026 NFC North

The NFC North is one of the toughest divisions in football, but which team has what it takes to rise above the rest? We start in Chicago, where all eyes are on Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson and the Bears’ offense. With a new offensive vision in place, can Chicago finally take the next step, or will the defense hold them back from competing in a loaded division? The Lions have the easiest schedule in the league, giving Detroit a major opportunity to stay on top. But will the offense keep clicking with a new offensive coordinator? And with injuries affecting key players on defense, can that unit hold up when the competition gets tougher? The Packers’ biggest setback could be their stars failing to return to form in time. Can Jordan Love ascend and lead Green Bay to the top of the NFC North while the team waits for Micah Parsons to return? Then there are the Vikings, who managed to win games despite inconsistent quarterback play. Will Kyler Murray set things right and finally give Minnesota the stability it needs? Kev and Rashad believe the Vikings have the best roster in the division, but will the quarterback play measure up with the rest of the NFC North? Theory Continues: 2026 NFC South

We start in Atlanta, where the Falcons’ QB situation has Kev questioning whether this team can find any consistency. With Tua Tagovailoa getting the Week 1 nod over Michael Penix Jr., the pressure is already on. Then there’s the Falcons defense. Kev questions how much we should believe in their defensive prowess after losing key pieces from the pass rush — especially after spending last season trying to rebuild that unit. The Panthers made the playoffs last season, but Rashad isn’t convinced they can repeat. With a tougher schedule ahead, can Carolina actually take that next step, or are we looking at a step backward? Meanwhile, Kev is ALL IN on the Saints. After seeing Kellen Moore’s offense begin to take shape late last season, Kev believes New Orleans is ready for an ascension and could be the surprise team of the NFC South. And don’t count out Rashad’s Buccaneers. He still believes Tampa Bay has the experience, talent and consistency to navigate what could once again be the NFL’s weakest division. Theory Continues: 2026 NFC West

Prophet Playoff Theory is back — and this time we’re breaking down the NFC West! We start with the lonely Arizona Cardinals. Are they a team without direction, or is there actually a plan in place? Kev asks the big question: Do the Cardinals give Carson Beck a real shot at quarterback? Then we get to the first Super Bowl-or-bust team: the Los Angeles Rams. Aaron Donald is BACK, Matthew Stafford is coming off an MVP season, the Rams traded for superstar Myles Garrett, and Sean McVay remains one of the best coaches in football. With all that firepower, is anything short of a Super Bowl appearance a failure for LA? Next up, the San Francisco 49ers. They’ve been in the headlines for plenty of reasons this offseason, not including football related means— but can they put the noise behind them and make another championship run? And is this ultimately their last “Go For It” year with this core? Finally, the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are chasing back-to-back titles. But with Klint Kubiak leaving for Las Vegas and Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker now in Kansas City, will the offense take a step back? Rashad says the Seahawks are underrated… but are they REALLY? Theory Continues: 2026 NFC East

We’re breaking down the NFC East in this episode of The Prophet Playoff Theory — We start with the Dallas Cowboys, who completely overhauled the defensive side of the ball after major struggles last season. Can all these new pieces finally give Dallas the defense it needs to complement what was one of the NFL’s best offenses? Then we head to New York, where John Harbaugh takes over as head coach. The Giants have plenty of optimism surrounding the new regime, but the Prophets have questions about Matt Nagy running the offense and what that means for Jaxson Dart’s development. Can Harbaugh get the Giants back into playoff contention immediately? The Philadelphia Eagles are chasing a third straight NFC East division title. But with the A.J. Brown traded and changes around the offense, we have to ask: does losing Brown actually make this offense better, or is Philadelphia taking a major step backward? And finally, the Washington Commanders. Kev isn’t exactly a believer — but out of respect for Jayden Daniels, the Prophets are giving Washington somewhere in the 7-to-9 win range. But could this season completely go off the rails if Daniels can’t stay healthy and the team doesn’t take the expected step forward? Theory Continues: 2026 AFC West

The Prophet Playoff Theory is back, and this time we’re breaking down the AFC West — a division loaded with questions, expectations, and plenty of room for the Prophets to disagree.  We start with last year’s division champs, the Denver Broncos. Was their success in one-score games a sign of a team that knows how to win, or is regression to the mean coming? Will Bo Nix take another major step forward, or has Sean Payton already put him in the perfect situation? Then there’s the Kansas City Chiefs. After a rare down year, Kansas City is retooling — and Rashad and Kev aren’t exactly impressed with everything they see. But there are two things that make counting out the Chiefs dangerous: Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. When you have those two, anything is possible. In Las Vegas, the Raiders bring in Klint Kubiak to lead the offense, With rookie Fernando Mendoza waiting in the wings, could Vegas have a bigger decision on its hands than expected? And finally… “The Chargers are the Chargers.” — Rashad. We all know what that means. The Los Angeles Chargers have the talent, Justin Herbert, and a roster capable of competing for the division. But can they stay healthy in the spots that matter most? If the offensive line and key defensive pieces stay healthy, could this finally be the year the Chargers turn potential into playoff success?
