Transformation: Is it possible for me to change?- The Holy Spirit Fall Refresh Week 6

Transformation: Becoming More Like Jesus | 2 Corinthians 3:7–18 Have you ever wanted to change something about yourself but discovered that trying harder wasn't enough? Some of the deepest changes in our lives happen through relationships. Becoming a spouse, a parent, or a friend changes more than our circumstances—it changes how we see ourselves, our priorities, and the world around us. In 2 Corinthians 3, Paul describes the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. God isn't simply giving us a list of rules to follow or asking us to become better at trying harder. Through our relationship with Him, the Spirit gives us life, changes how we see, and gradually transforms us into the likeness of Jesus. Real transformation begins beneath the surface. As we learn to see God more clearly and live in His presence, He begins to change how we think, how we relate to others, and how we live. The Holy Spirit doesn't just teach us how to live. He transforms us from the inside out.

Harmony: How to Find Unity in our Relationships- The Holy Spirit Fall Refresh Week 5

Harmony: How to Care & Serve for One Another | 1 Corinthians 12:4–26 What makes us different doesn’t have to divide us. In fact, the Holy Spirit uses our differences to bring us together. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul describes the church as one body made up of many different people, gifts, stories, backgrounds, and abilities. We aren’t meant to be interchangeable, independent, or self-sufficient. God has brought us together so we can belong to one another, care for one another, and serve one another. Church can be messy, awkward, challenging, and wonderfully ordinary—just like family and friendship. But those relationships are also where we learn patience, compassion, forgiveness, generosity, and what it means to love like Jesus. The Holy Spirit makes us different on purpose and connected by design. We don't have to be everything. We simply have to find our place, make room for others, and care for the people God has placed around us. One body. Many people. One Spirit. We belong to one another.

Empowerment: When I feel overwhelmed and inadequate- The Holy Spirit Fall Refresh Week 4

Week 4: Empowerment — Seeing What God Is Doing | Acts 1:8 What does it mean to be a witness? In Acts 1:8, Jesus tells his followers that they will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them—and that they will be his witnesses. The Spirit’s work isn't simply about giving us the strength to accomplish more for God. He opens our eyes to recognize where Jesus is already at work in the ordinary lives around us. A conversation. A kindness. Someone choosing courage. A person trying again. A neighbor who needs to be seen. A life slowly changing. The Holy Spirit teaches us to wake up and look around—to notice the fingerprints of Jesus and point them out to one another. We don't have to manufacture God's work. We get to witness it. God is doing more than we can see. The Spirit helps us notice—and invites us to participate.

Conviction: How to change what I can't fix on my own- The Holy Spirit Fall Refresh Week 3

Here’s a podcast description that keeps the message relational and formative, rather than making conviction sound like condemnation: Conviction: Changing the Story We’re Living In | John 16:5–11 Sometimes the hardest thing to change isn’t our behavior—it’s the story we’re living in. In John 16:5–11, Jesus explains that the Holy Spirit comes to convict us. But conviction isn’t condemnation, shame, or God pointing a finger at everything we’ve done wrong. The Spirit tells the truth about our lives so that we can see what is real, let go of the false stories we’ve been living by, and discover a different way forward. In this message, we explore how the Holy Spirit meets us in the places where we are confused, stuck, wounded, or afraid—and gently leads us toward truth, freedom, and life with Jesus. The Spirit doesn’t expose us to shame us. He tells us the truth so He can restore us.

Guidance: How do you know who or what to follow? The Holy Spirit Fall Refresh Week 2

What do you do when you don’t know what comes next? We often want God to give us every answer, remove every uncertainty, and show us exactly where life is headed. But in John 16, Jesus promises something different: “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.” The Holy Spirit’s guidance isn’t always about giving us more information or revealing the entire road ahead. His presence helps us see reality differently—to recognize what is true about Jesus, understand what is happening around us, and discern what God may be doing even when we can’t see it clearly. The disciples were about to face circumstances they could not understand. Jesus didn’t promise to remove the hardship. He promised they would not face it alone. Sometimes God’s guidance doesn’t change what we’re facing. It changes how we see what we’re facing. Join us as we explore what it means to live with the Holy Spirit as our Guide—to trust God with what we cannot see and take the next faithful step with Him.

Loneliness: Where is God when I can't see Him? (Holy Spirit Series Week 1)

Where is God when you can’t feel Him? We often assume God is absent when we can’t see Him, hear Him, or sense Him. But Jesus gives His disciples—and us—a different promise: you are not alone. In this first message of our series on the Holy Spirit, we step into the final conversation Jesus had with His disciples before the cross. They were confused, afraid, and facing a future they couldn't understand. Jesus knew He was leaving, but He promised that another Advocate would come—the Holy Spirit who would never leave them. The Holy Spirit is not simply a feeling, a force, or an occasional spiritual experience. He is God's abiding presence with us and in us. As we begin this journey, we'll explore a simple but life-changing possibility: the question isn't always whether God is present or actively working. Sometimes the deeper question is whether we are paying attention. What if God is closer than you think? Join us as we begin learning to recognize, trust, and respond to the presence of the Holy Spirit in the ordinary moments of everyday life.

Redemption: How to Hold On to a Future God Is Still Writing

How to Hold On to a Future God Is Still Writing 2 Kings 24:8–12; 25:27–30 What do you do when life doesn't turn out the way you hoped? Jehoiachin was only eighteen years old when he became king of Judah. He had the throne, the title, and an entire future ahead of him. Three months later, he lost it all and was taken to Babylon as a prisoner. For thirty-seven years, he lived in captivity. Then, unexpectedly, his circumstances changed. This final message in our Kingdoms Summer Bible Series reminds us that failure, loss, consequences, and disappointment do not have to be the final chapter of our story. A chapter can end without God's promise ending. You may lose something without God losing you. You may find yourself somewhere you never wanted to be and still discover that God is present and working. Join us as we explore how to hold on to hope when the future is uncertain—and trust that even when we cannot see what God is doing, He may still be writing a future we cannot yet imagine.

Repentance: How to Return to What Matters Most

Repentance: How to Return to What Matters Most Sometimes life gets cluttered. What once mattered most can become buried beneath busyness, disappointment, compromise, and the demands of everyday life. In 2 Kings 23:1–9, King Josiah discovers that God's Word has been neglected and God's people have drifted. His response shows us that repentance isn't simply feeling bad about where we've been—it's turning back toward God and making room for what matters most. In this episode, we'll explore how renewal begins with remembering God's Word, removing what competes for our hearts, and reorienting our lives around God. Even when our lives are messy and broken, God is still working His restoration plan.
