Know Before You Go Travel Show

I have enjoyed listening to the podcast, learning the ‘tips and tricks’, and exploring the possibilities for future travel. I appreciate the methodical breakdown of each resort review, making it easier to compare to other resorts. My wife and I have booked an anniversary trip to Sandals South Coast with Janet and we look forward to the review and vlog of the renewed Sandals South Coast!

I have been listening to Penyak Travel podcasts for quite a while. The information they provide is so thorough, and helpful and just fun to listen to. I booked a couple of trips for my husband and me based on information from their podcasts. Then one day I thought, "Why am I doing it myself when they will do it for me?" I think I just didn’t really understand what a no fee travel agency meant. They booked a trip for us to Punta Cana this past March 2026, we got a great price, all was taken care of for us and it was fantastic! Janet and her staff were fabulous. We had a wonderful time! On the day of our trip it appeared our flights were going to be delayed, and they responded quickly with information about how our airport pickup worked if we were delayed. I won’t book another trip by myself. I can’t wait to book with them again!

In 2023, I found the Know Before You Go podcast after we already booked a trip to Sandals La Toc in St Lucia. We went in blind and spontaneously booked based on the room amenities. I wanted to learn more, so I started searching through podcasts and found “Know Before You Go” (KBYG). Because I was able to learn much more about the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia, we changed our reservation to The Grande St. Lucian. George and Janet were so helpful in leading us through that decision and appropriately setting our expectations - just by the podcast alone! Fast forward, my daughter, age 22, wanted to go to an all-inclusive in Mexico for her college graduation. I suggested she listen to the podcast and see if there were any stand out resorts that George and Janet recommend. She actually ended up booking her trip to Mexico through Penyak travel, and she had an AMAZING experience. She stayed 4 nights at the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya. Everything was arranged for her, door to door, and she didn’t have to worry about a thing. MOST IMPORTANTLY, as her mother, I had peace about her safety and all the logistics that international travel can sometimes bring. Knowing my daughter was well-cared for and SAFE is invaluable! I listen to the KBYG on a regular rotation now, and have for 3 years. It gives me a “get away” in my mind as I visualize the experiences they describe, and my husband and I already decided we will book through Penyak Travel for our anniversary trip next year!

A travel agent friend recently introduced the idea of all inclusive resorts as she helped us book our honeymoon. I have never been to one, and in an effort to learn more, I found your podcast and YouTube channel and have been pouring through the episodes for weeks! I seriously want to know all of your tricks for carryon packing for long vacations! You all have taught me so much already and I love your reviews! Keep up the great work, and don’t tell my friend, but we may have to reach out to you all for the next travel adventure! 😉
