Election Special - A Clown in Charge

It's your job to get him to his meeting, but when it's all over, who'll be the clown in charge? For our 2020 election special, we read a story written in January for the NYC Midnight short fiction competition. At this time, bushfires in Australia were still burning, COVID-19 had only just begun and Joe Biden was yet to win the Democrats nomination. But there were still plenty of clowns in charge. Any resemblance to actual subsequent events has been both surprising and terrifying. So how would you trump Donny Pockets?
