    Being Taken Advantage Of

    We need to have awareness of ego because majority of the time and more often than not we think that people are taken advantage of us but according to whom. Often times we think people are taking advantage of us when in reality we just did not leverage our situation properly thus we get mad. We get upset because we feel somebody got one over on us and that is completely our fault majority of the time. So instead of overcoming the situations we stooped to the same level and try to get even. We are eye for an eye about it. But that truly does leave everybody blind. How do you leverage your situation to your advantage specifically?.. There are many ways to view this but don't allow lack of compassion and empathy to create an even bigger void between you and the person you're trying to become.     In this episode I give 5 ways to improve your life right now brought to by none other than the Lewis Howes and if you haven't heard of him please check him out. We get what we look for and we tend to focus on the wrong things we don't focus on the fact that there are problems and the fact that we need to choose certain ways in which we need to suffer and sacrifice we see everything as having to be handed to us so to speak like or entitled to things and that's really not the case.     The Different Roles We Play

    I think we all hit a point in life where we think we have hit a ceiling so to speak. We take this ceiling because the house that we live inside of is good, everything is good. Everything makes sense, everything is going smooth, everything is going as planned. Then opportunities come along because the good has happened for so long and because you are so good at the good, great things start to present themselves. So you're left with a choice. Do you continue to be good or do you grow into something greater than where you currently are and I think that is a conflict within a lot of people especially when trying to get into a different position or get into another place in life. We typically play different roles in life and we typically tailor these roles to the job that we currently have where as if you tailor the job to who you are as a person that really changes the paradigm as far as what work really consists of. Then it's not truly work. It's you being yourself in another environment and then taking that into other environments and in a way where there is never a version of you that is falsified and your not playing a different role.     Alcoholism, Depression & Overcoming The Odds With Alex Galaviz aka OsoStrong

    This was such an insanely insightful and amazing episode with my good friend Alex aka OsoStrong. His truth may be a bit harsh but I think sometimes that swift kick in the ass is just what we need. I hope this episode helps anyone as it has helped me realize quite a bit my own life. As always...     The Power Of Decision

    Thoughts are powerful and every thought that we have will trickle down and become some form of action. Think about all the times that you thought about working out but you also thought about not working out and the thing that you decided to do was the easiest one of the 2 because our brains naturally are not going to want to do the thing that our bodies are going to be willing to do. The key is to align our mind and body and make a decision based on a foundational thought process that works for us and that is our friend and that allows us to benefit and succeed and progress from those thoughts. But to make a decision we must first think properly. We must first feed our bodies the right mindset, the right things, listen to the right things, watch the right things, become the right things, be involved with the right people.     My Lack of Consistency

    I think being consistent is one of the most important roles when it comes to our goals. Being disciplined, being focused, being consistent and executing. I think too many of us overthink too many of us have a lot going on and too many of us have too many things going on at one time. It's very easy to become inconsistent when there are not foundational parts and aspects to what you do and why you do them.     Experiencing Judgment

    People will often tell me they want to start a podcast or write a book and yet they never start?... Is it having to do with being lazy or simply not knowing where to start?... Or maybe, just maybe, it's because you're afraid of being judged. Or perhaps maybe you judge others and you don't feel as though you have a means to start.
