Careers at ICE

Very informative on what it’s like working for, applying for, and being interested in ICE ERO/HSI/OPLA etc. Great method of outreach to students, recent grads, veterans and the public. A whole new appreciation of ICE after listening and love how this podcast is just a bunch of tips on the process of becoming an employee and expanding in depth the mission of ICE.

Family separation, the formal policy, was unprecedented and a travesty of human rights. The child camps are monstrous. The large scale raids are heinous. I volunteered in this arena, including with a separated family, and know the kind of abuses and cruelty you are perpetuating. Long-term trauma on children and families who did nothing wrong other than claiming their legal right to asylum. Families fleeing poverty and violence which US policy helped create (know your history) now subjected to inhumane treatment, children left with attachment issues and PTSD from your violent, racist, unjust policies and procedures. I want to give you and your show negative stars but the app is forcing me to give you one. You officers being interviewed claim to be “family” men and women. Open your eyes to your hypocrisy and the terror you are wreaking on innocents.

Stop pretending that showing up to arrest people as they are picking up their kids from school is moral and that you don’t use shady technology to track people down.
