    When God Seems Silent

    WHEN GOD SEEMS SILENT |  JUNE 7, 2026Pastor Wes Morris  Psalm 13:1-6 (NIV) How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me. √  WHEN GOD SEEMS SILENT, WE START ASSUMING INSTEAD OF TRUSTING.  Psalm 13:1 (NIV) How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?  John 11:5-6 (NIV) Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days. John 11:21 (NIV) “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”   √  WHEN GOD SEEMS SILENT, OUR EMOTIONS GET LOUD.  Psalm 13:2 (NIV) How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? √  WHEN GOD SEEMS SILENT, THE STRUGGLE CAN BECOME ALL WE SEE. Psalm 13:2 (NIV) How long will my enemy triumph over me? Psalm 13:5-6 (TLB) But I will always trust in you and in your mercy and will rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has blessed me so richly. Before God changes what's around you, He often changes what's happening inside you. WHEN GOD SEEMS SILENT I. ASK GOD TO HELP YOU SEE WITH A FRESH PERSPECTIVE.  Psalm 13:3 (NIV) Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes... Psalm 119:105 (NIV) Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. II. KEEP TRUSTING GOD‘S CHARACTER. Hebrews 10:23 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we profess, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. III. KEEP TAKING THE NEXT STEP. Psalm 37:23 (NLT) The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

    When Seasons Change

    WHEN SEASONS CHANGE |  MAY 31, 2026Pastor Wes Morris  Joshua 1:1-9 (NLT) After the death of Moses the Lord’s servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant. He said, “Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them. I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you...no one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” √  EVERY NEW SEASON REQUIRES A NEW SURRENDER. He said, “Moses my servant is dead...” √  THE SEASON MAY CHANGE, BUT THE SOURCE STAYS THE SAME. Joshua 1:5 (NLT) As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.  √  GOD DOESN‘T GIVE US EVERY DETAIL, BUT HE ALWAYS GIVES US HIMSELF.  Joshua 1:9 (NIV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. WHEN SEASONS CHANGE I. GRIEVE WHAT ENDED, BUT DON’T GET STUCK THERE. Joshua 1:1 (MSG) God spoke to Joshua, Moses’ assistant: “Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people." Ecclesiastes 3:1,4 (NIV) There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die...a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. II. LET GOD‘S FAITHFULNESS BE YOUR FOUNDATION. Joshua 1:5 (NLT) As I was with Moses, so I will be with you... Lamentations 3:18-23 (TLB) All hope is gone; my strength has turned to water, for the Lord has left me. Oh, remember the bitterness and suffering you have dealt to me! For I can never forget these awful years; always my soul will live in utter shame. Yet there is one ray of hope: his compassion never ends. It is only the Lord’s mercies that have kept us from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his loving-kindness begins afresh each day.  III. LEAVE TOMORROW IN GOD’S HANDS.  Matthew 6:27 (TLB) Will all your worries add a single moment to your life? 34 So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time.

    Wisdom For the Burdened

    ROOM TO BREATHE PT. 4 |  MAY 24, 2026Pastor Bria Bradshaw When we trust God with what’s His, we finally have room to breathe.  Exodus 18:13-16 (ESV) The next day Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood around Moses from morning till evening. When Moses' father-in-law saw all that he was doing for the people, he said, “What is this that you are doing for the people? Why do you sit alone, and all the people stand around you from morning till evening?” And Moses said to his father-in-law, “Because the people come to me to inquire of God; when they have a dispute, they come to me and I decide between one person and another, and I make them know the statutes of God and his laws.” Exodus‬ ‭18‬:‭17‬-‭23‬ ‭(ESV‬‬) Moses’ father-in-law said to him, “What you are doing is not good. You and the people with you will certainly wear yourselves out, for the thing is too heavy for you. You are not able to do it alone. Now obey my voice; I will give you advice, and God be with you! You shall represent the people before God and bring their cases to God, and you shall warn them about the statutes and the laws, and make them know the way in which they must walk and what they must do. Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people as chiefs of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens. And let them judge the people at all times. Every great matter they shall bring to you, but any small matter they shall decide themselves. So it will be easier for you, and they will bear the burden with you. If you do this, God will direct you, you will be able to endure, and all this people also will go to their place in peace.” WISDOM FOR THE BURDENED 1. Bring what’s not yours to God Exodus 18:19 (ESV) Now obey my voice; I will give you advice, and God be with you! You shall represent the people before God and bring their cases to God… Ask the Lord: What am I trying to carry that wasn’t meant for me? 2. Bear what’s yours to carry Exodus 18:20 (ESV) “...and you shall warn them about the statutes and the laws, and make them know the way in which they must walk and what they must do.” Exodus 18:22 (ESV) “...Every great matter they shall bring to you…” Ask the Lord: What responsibility is mine that I’ve not been carrying? 3. Look for others to carry with you Exodus 18:21 (ESV) “Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people…” Galatians 6:2 (ESV) Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Ask the Lord: What am I trying to carry on my own that others can help carry with me?

    When More Isn't Enough

    ROOM TO BREATHE PT. 3 |  MAY 17, 2026Pastor Wes Morris I Timothy 6:6 (NIV) Godliness with contentment is great gain. ✓ WE LIVE IN A CULTURE THAT TRAINS US TO BE DISCONTENT. ✓ WE KEEP CHASING MORE BUT NEVER FEEL LIKE IT’S ENOUGH. Luke 12:16-21 (NLT) Then he told them a story: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops. He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’ Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods.  And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’ “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.” ✓ WE ALLOW COMPARISON TO TURN BLESSINGS INTO BURDENS.  Proverbs 14:30 (NIV) A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. WHEN MORE ISN’T ENOUGH I. LEARN TO BE CONTENT WITH WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN ME.  Philippians 4:13 (NIV)  I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-12 (NIV) I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Contentment is freedom from the constant pressure to upgrade your life in order to enjoy your life. Q: What am I currently looking to for peace, satisfaction, or validation besides God? II. MAKE DECISIONS TODAY THAT PROTECT MY PEACE TOMORROW. Proverbs 14:15 (NIV) The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps. Q: Are the decisions I’m making today creating freedom or creating pressure? III. BUILD MY LIFE AROUND WHAT TRULY MATTERS. I Timothy 6:11-12 (NIV) But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called… Q: If my life keeps moving in its current direction, will I become the person God is calling me to be?

    The God Who Sees

    Room To Breathe pt. 2 | MAY 10, 2026 Pastor Wes Morris I Kings 19:1-9 (NIV) Now Ahab told Jezebel everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them.” Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again. The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. There he went into a cave and spent the night. √ GOD MEETS US IN THE WILDERNESS, NOT JUST THE BREAKTHROUGH. I Kings 19:4-5 (NIV) “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him... √ GOD SEES WHAT NO ONE ELSE UNDERSTANDS. I Kings 19:6 (ESV) And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again.   √ GOD CARES ABOUT WHAT’S HAPPENING IN YOU, NOT JUST WHAT’S HAPPENING THROUGH YOU. I Kings 19:9-12 (NIV) He came to a cave and camped there, and the word of the Lord came to him, and He said to him, “Why are you here, Elijah?” And he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord, Lord of Hosts, for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, thrown down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword, and I alone am left, and they seek to take my life.” He said, “Go and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind split the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind, an earthquake came, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake, a fire came, but the Lord was not in the fire, and after the fire, a still, small voice.  THE GOD WHO SEES I. BE HONEST WITH GOD ABOUT WHAT’S HAPPENING INSIDE OF YOU. Psalm 62:8 (NLT) O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. Where we bring our honesty, God brings His healing. II. LET GOD CARE FOR YOU TOO. Matthew 11:28 (NIV) Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. III. TRUST THAT GOD IS STILL WORKING IN QUIET SEASONS. Isaiah 30:15 (TLB) For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, says: Only in returning to me and waiting for me will you be saved; in quietness and confidence is your strength...

    When You Feel Stuck

    Room To Breathe Pt. 1| MAY 3, 2026 Exodus 14:1-4 (NLT) Then the Lord gave these instructions to Moses: “Order the Israelites to turn back and camp by Pi-hahiroth between Migdol and the sea. Camp there along the shore, across from Baal-zephon. Then Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are confused. They are trapped in the wilderness!’ And once again I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will chase after you. I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army. After this the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord!” So the Israelites camped there as they were told. ✓  NOT EVERY DIFFICULT PLACE IS A WRONG PLACE. Exodus 14:2 (NLT) “Turn back and camp by the sea…” ✓  FEELING STUCK EXPOSES WHERE WE’RE LOOKING FOR CONTROL. Exodus 14:10-12 (NLT) As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the Lord, and they said to Moses, “Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness? Weren’t there enough graves for us in Egypt? What have you done to us? Why did you make us leave Egypt? Didn’t we tell you this would happen while we were still in Egypt? We said, ‘Leave us alone! Let us be slaves to the Egyptians. It’s better to be a slave in Egypt than a corpse in the wilderness!’” Psalm 23:1-4 (NIV) The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me... ✓  GOD IS WORKING IN WAYS YOU CAN’T SEE YET. Exodus 14:21-22 (NLT) Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side! WHEN YOU FEEL STUCK I. RELEASE WHAT ISN’T YOURS TO CARRY. I Peter 5:7 (NIV) Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. You can care deeply without carrying it personally. II. CHOOSE STILLNESS OVER STRIVING. Exodus 14:13-14 (NLT) But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” III. BE FAITHFUL WITH THE NEXT STEP. Exodus 14:15 (NLT) Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.

    The Secret Most People Miss

    THE SECRET MOST PEOPLE MISS | April 26, 2026Guest Pastor Joey Sarlo Psalm 91:1 (NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We visit God… we don’t dwell with Him. Psalm 91:2 (NKJV) I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Isaiah 35:4 (NIV) Say to those with fearful hearts,     “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come,     He will come with vengeance; with divine retribution     He will come to save you.” We isolate… we don’t stay connected. Psalm 91:3 (NKJV) Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. Psalm 91:4 (NKJV) He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. We hear the Word… we don’t live it out. Psalm 91:5-7 (NKJV) You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. We entertain fear… we don’t fight it. Psalm 91:11-13 (NKJV) For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. We stay in safety… we don’t step out in authority. Psalm 91:14 (NKJV) “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. We see what’s in front of us… we don’t see what God sees. Psalm 91:15-16 (NKJV) He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” We carry it ourselves… we don’t call on God. Jeremiah 33:3 (NLT) Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.

    DON'T BURY IT | April 19, 2026Pastor Wes Morris  Matthew 25:14-24 (NLT) “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone. He gave five bags of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last—dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his trip. “The servant who received the five bags of silver began to invest the money and earned five more. The servant with two bags of silver also went to work and earned two more. But the servant who received the one bag of silver dug a hole in the ground and hid the master’s money. “After a long time their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money. The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’ “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’ “The servant who had received the two bags of silver came forward and said, ‘Master, you gave me two bags of silver to invest, and I have earned two more.’ “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’ “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’” ✓ WE‘VE ALL BEEN GIVEN SOMETHING.  ✓ COMPARISON WILL CAUSE YOU TO MISS WHAT GOD HAS PLACED IN YOUR HANDS. Matthew 25:18 (NLT) "But the servant who received the one bag of silver dug a hole in the ground and hid the master’s money." ✓ YOUR VIEW OF GOD SHAPES YOUR RESPONSE TO GOD. Matthew 25:24 (NLT) “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man…’” DON'T BURY IT I. SEE GOD IN A NEW WAY. James 1:17-18 (NLT) Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. God is good. God gives perfect gifts. God is the source. God is our Father. God is unchanging. God is steady. God is truthful. God deeply values you. II. DON’T ALLOW FEAR AND FAILURE TO DEFINE YOU. Isaiah 41:10 (TLB) Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. III. BE FAITHFUL WITH WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND. I Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV) Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
