Episode 236-Who Are You Without the Titles? Finding Your Identity in Christ with Jill O'Boyle

Who are you when the titles, accomplishments, responsibilities, and expectations are stripped away? Jill O'Boyle spent 15 years building a successful career in corporate event and project management. She was a high achiever, independent, capable, and known as the person who would get things done. From the outside, it looked like success. But somewhere along the way, Jill lost sight of herself. In this honest conversation, Jill shares the moment she looked in the mirror and realized she didn't know the woman staring back at her. The achievements, promotions, paycheck, and recognition she had worked so hard for could no longer answer a much deeper question: Who am I outside of all of this? That question became the beginning of a journey back to God, back to herself, and back to purpose. Donna and Jill talk about the hidden cost of building identity around achievement, learning to become still after years of constant doing, listening for God's voice, and allowing faith to shape the way we live and work. In This Conversation:Jill's journey as a lifelong high achiever and “the one everyone counted on”The mirror moment when she realized she no longer knew who she wasWhy accomplishment and recognition couldn't fill the emptiness underneathHow work and achievement began crowding out relationships and the things that mattered mostPsalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God”Learning to sit quietly, journal, and listen for God's directionThe words that reframed Jill's choices: “Whatever you're not changing, you're choosing”Releasing the need to control and learning to trustRefusing to separate faith from business and everyday lifeRedefining success through identity, purpose, and relationship with GodAsking God, “What's on Your agenda today?”About Jill O'Boyle: Jill O'Boyle is a faith-based life coach, motivational speaker, author, and host of the Your Life, Your Story – Rise Up Podcast. Episode 235- When You Need Clarity, Not One More Piece of Advice

Have you ever begun searching for wisdom only to end up with more information and less peace? You opened another tab, listened to another podcast, asked one more person, and continued looking for the piece of information that would finally make the answer clear. But what if you do not need one more source? In this episode, I explore the difference between gathering information and receiving God’s perspective. Information gives us more to consider. God’s wisdom brings discernment, direction, and peace. James 1:5 tells us that when we lack wisdom, we can ask God, who gives generously. Yet after praying, we often fill every quiet space with searching, analyzing, and busyness because movement makes us feel safe. I use the picture of muddy water to explain why greater effort does not always produce greater clarity. Water that is continually stirred cannot become clear. Sometimes it needs to become still. This episode will help you recognize whether you are truly seeking wisdom or simply looking for relief from the pressure to decide. In this episode: • Why capable people often respond to uncertainty by gathering more information • How pressure, fear, and responsibility contribute to decision fatigue • The difference between God’s wisdom and human certainty • Why stillness brings life back into right order • How to stop carrying outcomes that do not rest entirely on your shoulders • A simple prayer for the question or decision you are carrying Questions to consider: Are you seeking God’s wisdom, or relief from the discomfort of not knowing? Are you waiting for God’s direction, or collecting opinions so you can feel safe? Is the urgency you feel coming from God, or from the belief that everything depends on you? What would happen if you stopped stirring the water? A simple prayer: Father, what do You want me to see? Then give Him room to respond. Come Away Come Away is a refreshing encounter created as a place to turn aside from the noise and receive God’s wisdom for your life right now. Episode 233-You Don't Have to Be Loud to Be Lucrative with Inga Faison-Cavitt

Have you ever felt like you had to be loud, pushy, or "on" all the time to grow a business or be taken seriously? This week on the Vibrant Living Podcast, I sit down with Inga Faison-Cavitt, a former mechanical engineer turned Introvert Advantage Strategist, for a conversation about resilience, faith, and building a business that actually fits who you are. Inga shares how her awakening as an introvert started during COVID, when the extroverted mentors she'd been leaning on no longer had answers either, and she had to start finding her own way forward. We talk about what it really means to be resilient: not gritting your teeth and forcing your way through, but intertwining with God the way a rope is woven together, drawing strength from staying connected to Him rather than pushing through alone. You'll hear why more isn't always the answer (more posts, more leads, more visibility) and why the right people and the right strategy will always outperform sheer volume, plus Inga's favorite reminder: you don't have to be loud to be lucrative. Whether you're an introvert building a business or someone learning to move forward without forcing your way through, this conversation will remind you that you do not have to become someone else to succeed. In this episode: Inga's pivot from mechanical engineering to coaching introverted women in businessWhat COVID revealed about the pressure to "act extroverted" to succeedRedefining resilience through faith: waiting on God vs. forcing your own wayWhy the right people matter more than more peopleHow to build a business without pretending to be someone else Connect with Inga Faison-Cavitt: 🌐 Website: ingafay.com  📅 Biweekly webinar (every other Thursday) on building a profitable side business while working a 9-to-5 Connect with Vibrant Living International: 🌐 www.ivibrantliving.com for free resources, upcoming events, and more If this episode blessed you, share it with someone who needs the reminder that it's okay to be uniquely themselves. 🧡

Episode 231-Stop Settling: How to Reclaim Your Voice at Any Age with Tina Kadish

In this episode, I welcome back her friend Tina Kadish, founder of From Job to Joy, for a heart-to-heart on what it takes to choose yourself. After more than two decades in corporate training, Tina has spent recent years helping women find career clarity, but her own life recently handed her the biggest transition yet. After 27 years in a relationship, Tina made the decision to leave and found herself an empty nester, single, and living alone for the first time in her life, in her 60s. She shares candidly about the fear that kept her staying long after she knew it was time to go, and what it finally took to trust her own voice. We talk about what it means to stop waiting for someone else to know how we feel, and to start speaking our truth instead. Tina reflects on the resilience and courage she's discovered in herself through the process, and how her faith, especially the reminder that she "can do all things through Christ who strengthens her, has carried her through the hardest days. Tina also shares what's new in her business: a five-step Shift Method that helps women move from clarity into inner healing and aligned action, and a brand-new free community called Real Life, Real Shift, meeting monthly for women to gather in honest, unrecorded sisterhood. Tina Kadish is the founder of From Job to Joy. After 20 years in corporate training, she now helps women move through career transitions and major life shifts with clarity, confidence, and purpose. She is the author of two books, From Pain to Peace: A Mother's Journey Through Losing a Child and Freedom: 7 Steps to Thrive in Life and Business, and leads a weekly community for aspiring female entrepreneurs. What if the biggest obstacle to your calling isn't your ability, but your perspective? In this episode of the Vibrant Living Podcast, I sit down with Apostle Desireé Andrews for an honest conversation about identity, calling, courage, and learning to trust the gifts God has already placed within you. From her powerful encounter with God while serving in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm to decades of ministry, Desireé shares what she's learned about stepping beyond fear and fully embracing God's purpose. Together, we discuss: • Why people often hide the gifts God has given them • The Parable of the Talents and what it reveals about our view of God • How fear and limiting beliefs keep us living beneath our calling • Walking in spiritual authority with confidence • Trusting God one step at a time • Living from Christ's victory instead of striving for it I also reference my companion teaching: Higher Level, Higher Devil?
