Not only for the food safety peeps

Michele knows her stuff. Food safety can potentially be a dry topic but it's actually fascinating because of her ability to have fun with the information she shares. We can all stand to learn more about food safety and how our food is produced. I daresay it should be a requirement.

I really enjoy this podcast. As a food producer, I feel decently lost on where to start with food safety. I love food but I don’t know how to do any of the regulation or business stuff. This podcast makes me feel capable and empowered.
Applicable to all Small Business

I don’t own a food business. I am a farmer (though hey, you never know what value added products I may develop in the future) and I have still found every single episode beneficial. The nitty gritty of good food production described by Dr. P is useful for all steps in the process including raising livestock. Further, the sound business principles and life management strategies are universal. I have learned a lot and will continue to listen.
So Much More than Food Talk!

I just discovered Dr. Michele's fascinating podcast. Although I don't own a food business, I worked in the food service industry for a decade and always wanted a peek behind the "strip curtain." I was initially curious to learn some of the more processy industrial food policies/ methodologies, but I was pleasantly surprised to gain insight that goes beyond the food service industry. Dr. Michele provides actionable tips that can be applied to nearly all aspects of work and life. I found her talk on "Observation" to be especially poignant. Great food for thought!
