    785. When doing humanitarian work in Myanmar(Burma) and his life is serious danger, Aaron Blue proves how and why You Just Have To Laugh.

    Aaron Blue and his colleagues from Thailand life's are in danger. They did not get the proper documents to be  in Myanmar (Burma) to conduct their seminar. The three military officials who just walked in can make the men from Thailand disappear. Yes, as in kill them and no one will ever know what happened to them or find their bodies. Aaron understands the potential danger and what does he do? He starts making jokes and gets them all to laugh. It also happened at the Myanmar/Bangladesh border when doing more of his humanitarian work. Aaron is a unique is this way. In tense and life-threatening situations Aaron Blue's heart rate goes down he gets quite comfortable and relaxes. In this podcast Aaron explains the dangerous and corruption of Myanmar and how and why he does his humanitarian work to help the people.

    784. Paige Barrow takes us to the front line of Ukraine sharing what the people and war are really about.

    In 2010 to 2012 Paige Barrows served in Ukraine as a peacecorp volunteer. She developed friends and love for the people. Those friendships led to her going back and helping the Ukraine people in their fight for their freedom. She has been in war zones and helped the people all over the country with her humanitarian work. To date she has raised over $350,000 for humanitarian aid. Paige graphically explains the effect the war has had on Ukraine and the beauty quality of the people who are fighting for their freedom.     783. A father threw his baby in the river …he had reached his wits end. What happened within one year is the wonderful rehabilitation work Aaron Blue has dedicated his life too with the Charis Project.

    Families come from Myanmar to Thailand seeking a better future They are leaving a country where the conditions include: 70 years of ongoing armed conflict 32% poverty rate (38.8% in rural population) Massive corruption and Lack of opportunity     Mae Sot Thailand is where the main center on the border for economic migration from all over Myanmar. These Myanmar migrant families are subject to a host of extreme risk factors that contribute to the destruction of families and exploitation of their children.     The Risk Factors increase stress on the family leading to an increased incidence of spousal and child abuse. The family breakdown of spousal abandonment exacerbates the existing risk factors of trafficking, children sold, taken, or recruited into sexual, begging, and commercial labor slavery.     The Charis Project is where Aron Blue has dedicated his life to helping these people. The Project not only work to provide for a family's physical needs, but their mental, emotional, and spiritual needs as well. For families to be fully restored, healing and strengthening must take place in hearts and minds, as well as bodies.     778. Detachment doesn't mean you stop caring. It means you stop forcing, chasing, controlling, and expecting.

    For half a century, my comedy material gave me a voice, an identity, and a place to stand. But I discovered even something I deeply loved became a boundary. I began protecting what worked instead of risking what might work next.  So, I recently performed it for the last time. I am no longer required to sound like the comedian I was. It's time to surprise myself again. I retired my comedy material. I did not retire my gift for creating. I just cleared the stage for it.
