Self Care & Steven Universe

This is Awesome, this shows the meaning behind each episode and to see how to go along with this in Real life

This show is just what I need. I hope so much that more episodes are to come!!! Please please please

Raffy’s evident wealth of knowledge and experience on issues of self care gives listeners a well-rounded, trauma informed look at the emotionally rich piece of media that is SU. They focus deeply on the various social and emotional implications of the show and walks you through those parts that you may not understand— from explanations of the world and it’s characters, to pop culture jargon, and especially the language that surrounds heavier emotional topics. You don’t need to be an expert on self care OR SU to listen; Raffy keeps it super accessible as well as hella charming. I’m excited to hear what their unique perspective will offer to future discussions!!!

Through the Lens of Steven Universe, Raffy has created a safe place to discuss power imbalances, relationships, self care, theories about the show, and so much more! After a really stressful day at work it was so relaxing to sit an listen to, and it was really funny and relatable as well! Absolutely 5 stars, cant wait for more.
