Season Seven, October 2025, October 29: Who is the King of Glory? - Majestic I AM

Trusting the Lord as we wrap up our October Surprise, season 7, finish up our Signature episode, and begin Season 8, we hear God, the Almighty, challenge Job’s assertion that he will walk into God's presence, “like a prince,” and demand an answer. The Lord, the I AM, instead challenges Job’s arm, presence, eminence, dignity, honor, and majesty. If God says, Job has those attributes in His measure, He will “confess to you, That your own right hand can save you.” Christ in His sacrifice shows us that the debt we owed was one we could not pay. Our So What? From a terrible storm, which is the presence of the Almighty. we learn The humility that says “Not my will, but thine be done” is the most joyous place in all the universe. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen 1 Timothy 1:17 Brethren, let's pray for one another. Free Range Preacher on Prayer podcast. Season 8: A Prayer for 2026.

Welcome to the Free Range Preacher on Prayer podcast, episode 1 of season 8, or the official episode one of season 8. As we welcome the nations of Eswatini, Bangladesh, and Israel to the podcast, we are in an estuary season. God willing, we take the next few weeks to finish our October Surprise, Signature episode started in December, and begin Season Eight. I recently read a letter by Samuel Rutherford and realized he summed up the podcast's purpose more effectively than I ever have. Today’s episode is a prayer based on His eloquent exhortation. “Strive to make prayer, and reading, and holy company, and holy conference your delight; and when delight cometh in, ye shall by little and little smell the sweetness of Christ, till at length your soul be over head and ears in Christ's sweetness.” Take, Lord Jesus, these two pennies and help your people draw near to Thee. Thy will be done, in Thy wise, just, merciful, and compassionate person. Father compels us into Thy presence for our good, and we will glorify Thy Holy name forever and ever. Amen. “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen” 1 Timothy 1:17 Brethren, let's pray for one another. Season Seven, October 2025, October 28: Who is the King of Glory? - Majestic I AM - Who Sustains?

The outline of Job 39 shows that God has designed the animal kingdom and its environments perfectly. God designed birth, mountain goats, oxen, horses, and birds, all perfectly suited for their flourishing. And the Ostrich is neglectful with her nest and the callous care of the eggs of the troop, and yet they survive even in carelessness. But the ostrich and the emu are fearless. In 1932, a flock of Emus defeated the Austrian army! Our So What “For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe greatness to our God! 4 “The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.” Deuteronomy 32:3-4 In light of God’s majesty, perfect yet mysterious design, we come into His presence, lowly with reverence and faith, knowing He cares for us in the same perfection and mysterious goodness. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen 1 Timothy 1:17 Brethren, let's pray for one another. Season Seven, October 2025, October 27: Who is the King of Glory? - Majestic I AM - Where were You - Creation

Science tells us exactly how the universe began…Cosmic lightening, Mysterious forces, and luck. -as of a documentary on the creation. God, however, revealed to Job: The water cycle, the earth spins on its axis, springs in the oceans, the limits on the shorelines, mountains and valleys under the seas, the mysteries of light, water freezing from the top down, along with His creative power, thousands of years before mankind discovered those truths. He is the Creator Our So What? We are forced to echoJob and Solomon: “Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee? I lay my hand on my mouth. 5 “Once I have spoken, and I will not answer; Even twice, and I will add no more.” Job 40:4-5 “Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.” Ecclesiastes 5:2 True lowly humility is our place before the majestic “I AM”, and it is a beautiful soul-satisfying place to be. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen 1 Timothy 1:17 Brethren, let's pray for one another. Prayer 101: Our Signature Episode, What is Prayer? Encouragement. Prayer - Comfort in Sorrow - Jeremiah.

The 17.03 mark transitions to closing information. We continue looking at how Jeremiah's long life of consistent prayer leads him to be able to say in Lamentations: "He has filled me with bitterness, He has made me drunk with wormwood. 16 And He has broken my teeth with gravel; He has made me cower in the dust." Jeremiah 3:15-16 AND "Surely my soul remembers And is bowed down within me. 21 This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. 22 The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Thy faithfulness." Lamentations 4:21-23 Our So What? The bitterness of this earthly pilgrimage is made sweet through our consistent, sincere conversation and community with our Creator, Savior, and Sustainer. "I called on Thy name, O LORD, Out of the lowest pit. 56 Thou hast heard my voice, "Do not hide Thine ear from my prayer for relief, From my cry for help." 57 Thou didst draw near when I called on Thee; Thou didst say, "Do not fear!" 58 O Lord, Thou didst plead my soul's cause; Thou hast redeemed my life. 59 O LORD, Thou hast seen my oppression; Judge my case." Jeremiah 3:55-59 Brethren, let's pray for one another. "What a man is on his knees before God, that he is and nothing more." Prayer 101: Our Signature Episode, What is Prayer? Transitional Encouragement. Prayer - Knowing God - Jeremiah.

Today, we say hello to my friend Genci, pastor of Eagles Church in Tirana, Albania, along with all our brothers and sisters who live in Albania. Genci is a man of character who loves his flock and has a beautiful family. The point of mentioning we are sinners, bigger on the inside and lonely, is to demonstrate our great need not only for salvation but to know and be known by others, most critically, God. In the lives of Jeremiah and Job, we see lives that are fully satisfied and trusting in the deepest of sorrows. But how did they get there? By consistent communion, conversation (prayer) with our Creator, Savior, and Sustainer. In a challenging, nearly 50-year ministry with Almighty God, Jeremiah learned through every circumstance: "There is none like Thee, O LORD; Thou art great, and great is Thy name in might.” Jeremiah 10:6 "I know, O LORD, that a man's way is not in himself; Nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps.” Jeremiah 10:23 "Are there any among the idols of the nations who give rain? Or can the heavens grant showers? Is it not Thou, O LORD our God? Therefore we hope in Thee, For Thou art the one who hast done all these things.” Jeremiah 14:22 "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27 "Correct me, O LORD, but with justice; Not with Thine anger, lest Thou bring me to nothing.” Jeremiah 6:24 And above all, "Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; 24 but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 9:23-24 Brethren, let's pray for one another. "What a man is on his knees before God, that he is and nothing more." Season Seven, October 2025, October 26: Who is the King of Glory? - Majestic I AM - Intro

Today, we welcome Israel to our listening audience. Thank you for giving the Free Range Preacher on Prayer podcast! We are looking this October at just who is our King of Glory? Today we see Him again high and lifted up, and in His presence we are humbled. Job began his season of trial with unfeigned worship of the God of the universe. “Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked I shall return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.” 22 Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.” Job 1:20-22 “But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.”Job 2:10 At the end of his long, weary defense of himself, Job moves to his desire to demand an explanation. Job 31:35-36 “Oh that I had one to hear me! Behold, here is my signature; Let the Almighty answer me! And the indictment which my adversary has written, 36 Surely I would carry it on my shoulder; I would bind it to myself like a crown. 37 “I would declare to Him the number of my steps; Like a prince I would approach Him.” From humility to a wronged prince. Then God answers. God never tells Job why, but, as we will see, He confronts Job with God as Creator and Sustainer, and He displays Job’s weakness before His other creations. Job will be humbled and reminded: “Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.” Ecclesiastes 5:2 Our So What? We come into God’s presence in lowliness. “Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other. 23 “I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.” Isaiah 45:22-23 “that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen 1 Timothy 1:17 Brethren, let's pray for one another. "What a man is on his knees before God, that he is and nothing more." Prayer 101: Our Signature Episode, What is Prayer? Part Two b. God's Merciful, God's Glorious Solution. Eternal Life.

We highlight and rejoice in the closed countries where we are heard. We want you to know we remember you daily in our prayers and are blessed you listen. I struggled in the first year of my salvation in the area of prayer. Forty-five or so years ago, I neither understood, comprehended, nor apprehended that I was in a new and authentic relationship with my Creator, Savior, and Internal Companion who indwells us all. It took most of those forty years to realize the true nature of eternal life was: "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent." John 17:3 How I learned that in the 20-year struggle with depression! Here is a quick outline of where we begin this episode. 1. We were created for community with our Creator. 2. We are born estranged (not in community) from our Creator. 3. We have been recreated for the community with our Creator. 4. Our journey, peace, meaning, comfort, contentment, and abundant life are born, nurtured, and grown from our community with our Creator. 5. Heaven, eternal life, is learning to know our Creator. Our So What? And our journey in this lifetime. The peace, meaning, comfort, contentment, and abundant life we were promised and longed for are only nurtured and grown in our community with our Heavenly Father. Brethren, let's pray for one another. "What a man is on his knees before God, that he is and nothing more."
