Embracing Risk With Mark Plessinger: kendallprojects podcast Ep. 3

This is an in depth conversation about the problems, mistakes, opportunities and solutions we have as creatives face in our ever changing society. We sat down with Mark Plessinger of Columbia SC, former owner of Frame of Mind custom eyewear boutique, founder of First Thursday on Main, State Street Art Crawl in West Columbia, owner of Cult of Eyewear, P Squared Productions and now Gallery 731 in Dayton Ohio. We discussed his amazing journey of creating a unique art scene in Columbia, while explaining the pitfalls and lessons learn which propelled him into a new endeavor of starting his own gallery and bridging the to cities of Columbia and Dayton. Mark shares a special vision and model for creating a community of artists, founded in the idea that the value artists provide to a community must put be put on the front end of any cultural shift with the understanding that without the artists cultural and economic growth in a community simply cannot thrive. Help Mark reach his goal of opening his Gallery 731 to a new audience as he joins the art communities of Dayton Ohio and Columbia SC by clicking on the GoFundMe link below. https://www.gofundme.com/f/gallery-731?utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_lico+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR0ZaXlIYdq-p2tWyB_pRj84uvZ26yUBYSbrrjHDeAUf4mBTcNP_h3EdhYM As well as all his other business ventures that support the arts and artists! https://www.facebook.com/thecultofeyewear/?__tn__=kCH-R&eid=ARBgtPkC7lgLJduKnULLsQaetn3jJIPxR8DLCmZcb5FxZY3Kbug0fK55kQWHOyOWu3KD41KzvGYFzMDd&hc_ref=ARTEpvGGmBS_3mu1O4meBSkNyRFLpjWptykmAIF6fWleBOxhMM-J7LGVpF7Yam3pmJg&fref=nf&__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARDsY_0tFZBPUo2rm5HJrQpMoGK6KU9E4xyFZn5NRM086bhniorPQUTCLEYVOwUM1G-4XjXEzoDmB3nwe0NfZS04E5MguDj84prCYUF03-RfYtUF-_ZWQOvN2498ZO8XvjyjS1ok2ns-p8YlmbpiwSvtOeN4jwfLn6TMRbS_FoMMpO1GT0Ll6fOK65ZcPwaFtdHsT93K6Y_OjTLU3J-0v8vRLk9NR152SuufP8Vju-q5iVXTDjVE54-73JhIbwg9as0hb56EjP1SUN0YZAN3q086sj1sGwdGEFiqCqjTH1NNJt0fa9f3zEHTPSgnAi1HwB9XSlItgCGzCY7HvGo
