A new "Karen of the Day". Doc's Racing Report. The perfect temp for sleeping.

Ah….Friday. Busy weekend ahead with some live wrestling tonight, a Rock Stop tomorrow, Irish Fest tomorrow night, and a baby shower on Sunday. Weather should be cooperative for outdoor activities except for tonight…as there's showers & thunderstorms in the forecast. In the news this morning, a bunch of flock cameras are getting cut down & stolen across the country, a vote to hold Anthony Fauci in contempt, Miss North Carolina is stripped of her crown, an update on Perez Hilton, and a QVC host has an all-time slip-up on air! In sports, the Brewers beat the Pirates again yesterday to take three out of four from Pittsburgh, the NFL Hall of Fame game was actually pretty exciting last night, a look at next week's preseason schedule, contracts for running backs Jahmyr Gibbs & Jonathan Taylor, Scott Steiner's kid gets suspended by the NFL, and a cool addition to the upcoming MLB Field of Dreams game. We let you know what's on TV & streaming this weekend and what's new in theaters. Plus, Honey Boo-Boo's sister is now on OnlyFans, a GTA 6 teaser is coming to Netflix & YouTube, and women are getting horny for the new "Wicker Man" movie. Cool story about a shelter cat that was using a makeshift wheelchair but recently got a major upgrade. And a bride was trying to shoo a bee when her ring fell off & got lost…but thanks to a dude with a metal detector, she was reunited with the ring before the reception even got started. A new "Karen of the Day" is really mad about a kid's birthday cake. Doc joined us just after 8am to talk NASCAR thanks to County Materials in Holmen & Eau Claire. Elsewhere in sports, new info on the investigation into Kawhi Leonard, the USA Women's Basketball roster is announced, a substitute teacher does a fantastic job in the broadcast booth, and a woman at a Yankees game gets hit by a flying baseball bat and is now suing for a LOT of money. What's the perfect temp for sleeping?? And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a mayor in North Carolina who was arrested on drug charges, a guy who works at a gym stole a member's credit card & bought some beer & BBQ with it, a #FloridaMom who was using her 9 year-old daughter to help her steal from Target, and a person who was dressing up as the grim reaper and staring at patients in a hospital gets arrested. Hypothetical Thursday. Office Cora. Peak happiness. Drum circles.

Spooky this morning with a bunch of fog settling in. Should warm up later and be rather nice. Look for some showers & possible thunderstorms tomorrow night, however. It's Hypothetical Thursday…where we ask each other hypothetical questions. Jean went first this morning and her question for Brian was: " " Brian's question for Jean was: "If you could get $50,000 in cash for every inch of height you lose…how tall would you be?" Office Cora also joined us just after 8am to let us know what she's up to in the 715 this weekend. And we also sang "Happy Birthday" to her as she celebrated her b-day earlier this week. In the news this morning, an update on the Nolan Wells case, a recall on jalapenos, the latest on Perez Hilton, a non-profit in Wisconsin bails out a bunch of the Madison protestors, and have you seen the Jiu Jitsu nurse??? In sports, the Brewers beat the Pirates again last night, a new winner at the WSOP, a Mets rookie does the Superhero landing after his first career strikeout, Stefon Diggs is signing with the Commanders, Jalon Walker's season is over, and Aaron Donald is getting closer to making a comeback in the NFL. We talked about what's on TV & streaming today. Plus, the Queens of the Stone Age had a complaint line, Charlie Sheen is launching a podcast, Disney has already sold all the Super Bowl ads, and a new documentary about OJ Simpson's failed "Juiced" show is coming out. A guy who survived a shark attack in the Bahamas is welcomed home by his friends & neighbors, and a 64 year-old father of five just graduated nursing school after attending alongside his son! Do you know when the average person reaches PEAK happiness??? It's apparently age 47. Elsewhere in sports, LIV golf apparently has new funding, Justin Herbert & Madison Beer can't keep their hands off each other at Chargers practice, and the Akron Zips have a unique contest for their season ticket holders. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaMan who tried to kill a teenager because of a lobster diving spot, a doorbell camera that captured a 15 year-old kid in a clown costume who's accused of murder, a poster created by A.I. wins a contest at the Ohio State Fair and people are PISSED, a guy on a rollercoaster gets hit in the face with a shoe, a truck hauling a porta-potty leaks TP all over the highway, and a mom in Texas who left her kids at home to drive to her boyfriends house. One Gotta Go Wednesday. Sex in an IKEA. Bizarre traditions at county fairs. The end of an era in the NHL.

Holy Hump Day, Batman! We are loaded this morning as we head towards the weekend. In the news, the latest on the clean-up of the encampment in Madison, Kelly Osbourne posts & deletes some "cryptic" stuff on social media, a recall on nut butter sold at Walmart, Bryan Kohberger is looking for a new attorney, a Space-X rocket is going to crash into the moon today In sports, the Brewers beat the Pirates last night, Bijan Robinson…Zay Flowers…and Darnell Wright all signed contract extensions yesterday, Brock Lesnar announces his retirement on the Pat McAfee show, the NASCAR Clash is moving back to Daytona in 2027, and the NCAAF pre-season rankings are released. The Autumn Kings played Rock Fest a couple of weeks ago…but it's what happened AFTER that show that's making news right now. And a woman's pet chihuahua might have been the reason she was able to find out she had breast cancer! On Hump Days, we play "One Gotta Go" Wednesday…and it's a choice between four popular social media sites. Facebook. Twitter. Instagram. or Snapchat. Which one are you getting rid of forever???? Elsewhere in sports, the NHL is getting rid of the amateur EBUG next season, Cleveland's WNBA team gets a name, a parrot attacks a soccer team, a longtime Boston College radio team gets fired by the new head coach, and a scandal at the Tour de France Femmes! County Fairs have a long history of amazing food, local & national music acts, various forms of entertainment….and plenty of other weird traditions. Here's a list of some of the more interesting things that happen at county fairs across America. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a dad who pretended to be his 11 year-old daughter on TikTok so he could attempt to kill her alleged rapist, a #Florida restaurant that launches a nude dining experience, a couple in Taiwan that were busted having sex in an IKEA, and a Canadian woman who got pulled over and had TWELVE fake IDs. Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports Show. What do you hate the most about going grocery shopping? A chainsaw-wielding robot centaur!

Cooling off a bit today & tomorrow with high temps in the mid-to-upper 70's. Gonna get some more pavers laid for the firepit! On the show today, we talked about the things we hate when we go grocery shopping, and Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports Show joined us just after 8am to talk Packer training camp and the Brewers moves at the MLB trade deadline. Ozzfest might be returning in 2027…Zac Brown gives away cruise tickets to an entire crowd at Fenway Park…and Lollapalooza included a bag filled with pee getting carried around like a crowd-surfer. Hypothetical Thursday. Office Cora. Pleading the fif. Fireball sneaks.

In case you missed it, the Megadeth show at the Southside Oktoberfest grounds tomorrow night is moving down the street a bit & is now happening inside the La Crosse Center. Find all the info here. Obviously, the threat of rain with some possible lightning and heavy winds can seriously affect any outdoor event, so moving the show to the Center makes a ton of sense. Also in the news this morning, a nationwide recall on eyedrops, accusations by multiple women against Jared Leto, the Mayor of St. Paul is being investigated, Dr. Fauci pleads the fifth, Afroman is suing, and a ban on Roomba vacuums. In sports, the Brewers got shellacked by the Giants last night, an update on yesterday's training camp injuries, the latest on Mia Bieniemy, and Ahman Green announces that he's got Parkinson's. Three women in a car flew off an overpass and ended up landing upside-down & trapped in the vehicle until a bunch of strangers came to their rescue. And a young lifeguard is a hero after saving a young boy from drowning. It's Hypothetical Thursday and with Jean in Boston, I asked you the question this morning: "If the Purge was real, would you participate or lock down with your family/friends/neighbors?" Are mini-vans "cool" now? One Gotta Go Wednesday. Is MySpace back?

Got a text from Jean yesterday saying that they're loving their time in Boston. I can't wait to hear all about her trip when she gets back next week. In the news this morning, the Minocqua Brewing Company has it's license revoked, a nationwide recall on Thyroid medication, a Costco settlement could mean money in your pocket, a tragic murder/suicide in Michigan, Myspace is apparently attempting to make a comeback, and Oscar Mayer is celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Wienermobile with a special "wiener cake". In sports, the Brewers beat the Giants last night and go for the series sweep later today, the Tony Romo arrest video has been released, Kyle Shanahan takes full responsibility for the accident he was recently involved in, Micah Parsons is starting the season on the PUP list for the Packers, and Adrian Peterson will be inducted into the Vikings Ring of Honor later this season. Talked about what's on TV & streaming today/tonight. Plus, a possible "Home Alone" sequel starring Macaulay Culkin might be in the works, David Lee Roth & Alex Van Halen are reuniting in Fargo for a TED talk, and the kids from "The Sandlot" are going to be in a new series called "Dugout Dads". Great story about a guy who beat cancer and decided to celebrate by canoeing the Missouri river with his dog, a kid in Florida is getting recognized for reading to shelter animals, and a message in a bottle is found 53 years later and returned to the family of it's original sender. It's Hump Day, so that means "One Gotta Go Wednesday"…and today's edition was food related - Burgers. Tacos. Pizza. Or fried chicken? Elsewhere in sports, the Browns re-up Denzel Ward and make him the highest paid defensive back in NFL history, Ohio State and Notre Dame make record deals for sponsorship patches on their respective uniforms, Bills fans AND some of their players absolutely hate their new "Nickel City" uniforms, and a minor league baseball player gets trucked by a mascot in a Santa suit. I personally don't think that mini-vans were ever cool…but apparently the younger generation is trying to make mini-vans a "thing". And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a daycare worker that locked a kid in the closet so she could go to the liquor store, a bunch of rabid beavers in NY & NJ keep attacking people, a #FloridaMan who got busted for drugs while on the phone with his "bae", & a self-service kiosk at Popeye's restaurants is asking people to tip the kitchen staff.
