    The Search That Leaves You Empty

    We all know what it feels like to chase something we think will finally make us happy. A new achievement, a new possession, a new desire. But sometimes the things we pursue leave us more empty than fulfilled. Like Judas, we can become so restless searching for more that we miss the peace right in front of us. Restlessness can lead us down paths we never intended to take. It can leave behind guilt, brokenness, and a constant feeling that something is missing. But the good news is Jesus does not turn away from broken people. He meets us in our mess and offers something the world never can: true peace, forgiveness, and rest.     What’s Stealing Your Peace?

    Contentment is more than having enough. It is the deep peace that comes from trusting God, even when life feels uncertain. In this message, we look at the story of Jericho, Rahab, and Achan to discover how God’s mercy, guidance, and grace lead us to lasting contentment. When the Israelites stood before the impossible walls of Jericho, God already had a plan. He used an unlikely person named Rahab and showed that no one is beyond His reach. The same God who made a way for them is still working in situations that seem impossible today. At the same time, the story of Achan reminds us that hidden sin robs us of peace. What promises happiness often leaves us restless, burdened, and distant from God. True contentment cannot grow where sin remains unconfessed. The good news is that failure is never the end of the story. Through Jesus, there is mercy, forgiveness, and restoration.     The Danger of Drifting From Truth

    There are moments in life when it feels like our faith is being pulled in every direction. Fear, doubt, temptation, and the noise of the world can slowly wear us down without us even realizing it. In this message, we’re reminded that the enemy wants to steal our hope and distract us from the truth, but Jesus is still praying for us, guiding us, and calling us back to Him. Looking at Peter’s story, we see that failure does not have to define us. Even after denial, weakness, and mistakes, God still restored Peter and used his life in a powerful way.     Losing What God Meant for You

    We live in a world that constantly tells us we need more. More success, more possessions, more attention. Like the gold rush seekers who risked everything for something greater, it’s easy to believe that the next thing will finally satisfy us. Ahab had everything, yet he fixated on what wasn’t his. That kind of restless longing can lead us further than we ever intended, affecting our faith, our relationships, and our peace. The truth is, adding more to our lives does not always bring more joy.     In a world that constantly tells you to want more, contentment can feel just out of reach. Yet it is one of the greatest gifts God offers. It brings a quiet peace to your soul and helps you see the beauty in what you already have. When you begin to nourish contentment with gratitude, even the smallest blessings start to feel like more than enough. Solomon had everything many people spend their lives chasing. Wisdom, wealth, success, and influence. But when he drifted from God, none of it satisfied him. His story reminds us that the gifts were never meant to replace the Giver.     The Love You Didn't Earn

    It’s easy to believe that being a good person is enough. If we try harder, do better, and prove ourselves, maybe we’ll earn love and acceptance. But deep down, that kind of thinking leaves us tired and unsure, always wondering if we’ve done enough. In Romans 5, we’re reminded of something far greater. At our weakest moment, when we had nothing to offer, Christ came for us. Not because we earned it, but because God already loved us. Real love doesn’t begin with our effort. It begins with His grace. Good works can’t heal the weight we carry or erase the past we wish we could change. They were never meant to. God didn’t offer a temporary fix. He gave us something lasting through Jesus, a love that covers, restores, and holds us forever. This is real love. It’s personal, it’s certain, and it’s for you.
