    The Gift Of Cash Flow | Entrepreneurs Guide To Cash

    It's something I have been affectionately calling Option 4. The decision to retain revenue as cash flow within your business and keeping it from the economic termites that would see it eaten up. Option 4 is referring cash flow planning with what you do with excess cash at the end of the year. In most cases, your tax professional or CPA probably tells you to do one of three things.  1. Put some money in a qualified investment plan, for the deduction. 2. Buy something like a vehicle, for the deduction. 3. Take the money as a K1 and pay the tax. Here is where option four comes in and it's a game-changer. Option four involves a concept called the Alternative Risk Program. With the ARP we keep your hard-earned money where it belongs,  in your business. Jump into the episode, it's short, but I will be getting into more detail in the coming days and weeks.     It's All About CASH FLOW | Keep it in the business

    If anything, 2020 has been the most uncertain year I've experienced in my 58 years of life. It's only proven that having assets, things that put money in your pocket, outside your business is vital to personal and financial wellbeing.  As business owners, we practice the old motto of pay everyone. else first and whatever. is left over goes to us. And let's be honest, what's really leftover at the end of the month? My mission has been to help. businesses and founders protect their cash flow and their personal liveliness.     Notre Dame V Clemson | Americans United

    It's not about sports, but what sports does for us as people.  It doesn't matter if you're a football fan, the purpose of this is to highlight how events unify us. This weekend if you were a Notre Dame fan or Clemson fan, it didn't matter. 15,000 people rushed the field, and where that might not be the best thing right now from a health standpoint, it's what we need. To come together around the proverbial firepit and just be. Not as enemies, republicans, or democrats, but as Americans, and human beings. Whether your team won or lost you can share with your fellow human that experience. Differences aside, let's move forward remembering that we are all in this together. Communication is so divided and I want to encourage you to get out there and talk to your neighbor and find people who don't believe or think the way you do and just listen with an open mind. Agree to disagree and find common ground. You might find that despite what you think, you have more in common than you realize. Until the next time, Live Long and Profit. P.S.     Your Health Your Decision | Long Term Care Insurance

    This is a heart wrencher. Last week Pat was in San Diego and a gentleman he met told him the story of how his mother died. As a family the didn't have the resources for in-home health care and she was placed three an a half hours away in a state facility.   To even be placed in the state facility first all her assets had to be spent down to almost nothing. She then was moved into the long term care facility and unfortunately, the facility came under siege from COVID.  12 people were infected and 9 passed away including this gentleman's mother. Hindsight is 20/20 but there were things they could have put in place had they just known about them. Today in the conversation Pat and Kyle get into what Long Term Care Insurance is, what it isn't, and how it could have possibly saved this woman's life.     Today on the podcast, Dr. Christine Wilkinson. For her full bio see below, however, she is undeniably a force. Our conversation took us from her upbringing to her current position at ASU as Senior Vice President and Sectary of the University. That's the entire university...  We couldn't be more honored and excited to have her on the podcast and we hope you enjoy and get as much value from the conversation as we did.  Dr. Wilkinson, thank you again! Full bio: Dr. Christine K. Wilkinson is the Senior Vice President and Secretary of the University; ASU Alumni Association President and CEO; and Managing Director, Trustees of ASU.  Among her other executive roles, Dr. Wilkinson has served as the vice president of student affairs and the university’s interim athletic director on three separate occasions. She is a tenured faculty member in the Division of Educational Leadership and Innovation, Mary Lou Fulton Teacher College. Her current community engagement includes serving on the following boards: Valley of the Sun United Way, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center, Arizona Business Leaders Association, Japanese American National Museum Governors, Pat Tillman Foundation and ASU InvestU.  She is also on the National Leadership Council for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and the Arizona Educational Foundation Advisory Board. She is a member of the Arizona Women’s Forum, Charter 100, and ASU Women & Philanthropy. Dr. Wilkinson was inducted into the Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame as the first Living Legacy in education and received the Most Admired Leader Lifetime Achievement award from the Phoenix Business Journal.  In 2018, she received the Tempe Community Council’s Don Carlos Humanitarian Award and was selected as one of the Most Influential Business Women by the AZ Business Magazine. She also has received the Tempe Business Woman of the Year from the Tempe Chamber of Commerce, the Valley Leadership Woman of the Year, the CASE Crystal Apple Award, and received additional community awards for leadership and service. Her educational background includes: BA in Education with distinction from ASU, a MA in Education, Counseling Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, and a PhD in Higher Education Administration from ASU.
