Righteousness & The Fruit of the Spirit

What does the Bible actually mean when it calls someone righteous? Many of us were taught to think of righteousness simply as being a “good person.” But who determines what is good, right, loving, kind, or just? Our personal definitions can change depending on our culture, politics, experiences, and opinions. The Bible, however, gives its own definition. 📖 Deuteronomy 6:25 connects righteousness with observing God’s commandments. 📖 Psalm 119:172 declares: “for all thy commandments are righteousness.” But what about the Fruit of the Spirit? In Galatians 5:22–23, Paul describes the fruit of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Does displaying these characteristics automatically make someone righteous? Can someone appear loving, kind, patient, and gentle while still living contrary to the commandments of God? In this sermon, I examine the relationship between God’s definition of righteousness and the Fruit of the Spirit and explain why the two were never meant to oppose one another. When our character is rooted in obedience to God, our love becomes righteous love. Our kindness becomes righteous kindness. Our patience becomes righteous patience. Our goodness becomes righteous goodness, and our self-control becomes righteous self-control. Romans 8:4 says that “the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” And Ezekiel 36:27 tells us exactly what God's Spirit produces: “And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” The Spirit of God should not lead us away from obedience to God. The Spirit should lead us into a life of righteousness before God. This is Righteousness & The Fruit of the Spirit. 📖 Scriptures discussed: Matthew 6:33 • Deuteronomy 6:25 • Psalm 119:172 • Leviticus 19:16 • Galatians 5:22–23 • Romans 8:4 • Ezekiel 36:27 #Righteousness #FruitOfTheSpirit #GodsLaws #Commandments #BibleStudy #Christianity #HolySpirit #Galatians5 #BibleTeaching #Torah #Scripture #LeoDunsonMinistries

    The Gentiles can be SAVED!!!

Can Gentiles, strangers, and foreigners be saved according to Scripture? In this sermon, we go directly to the Bible—from the Law of Moses to the Prophets and Revelation—to examine what God says about people from outside Israel who turn to Him.Long before Paul wrote about Gentiles being grafted in, the Torah established that the stranger who joined himself to God could worship among Israel and was accountable to the same law. Numbers 15:15 declares, “You and the foreigner shall be the same before the LORD.” Exodus 12:48–49 likewise says that the stranger who joined Israel and kept the Passover would be “as one that is born in the land.”We examine Numbers 15:15, Leviticus 19:34, Exodus 12:48–49, Numbers 15:29–30, Isaiah 42:6, Isaiah 14:1, Isaiah 56:6–7, Esther 8:17, Ruth 1:16, Ezekiel 14:7, Zechariah 14:16, and Revelation 21:24 to show the consistent biblical message: God calls His people to be a light to the nations, and people from the nations can turn to the Most High, join themselves to Him, worship Him, and receive salvation. This message is also a warning against allowing hatred, bitterness, or a desire for vengeance to become our doctrine. Vengeance belongs to the Lord. We are called to walk in righteousness, love our neighbors, preach God's truth, and be a light to the world. The Gentiles can be saved. The stranger can join himself to the LORD.God's house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.Receive this message in the name of Christ. Amen.#TheGentilesCanBeSaved #Gentiles #Israelites #BibleStudy #BibleTruth #GodsLaws #Commandments #Torah #JesusChrist #Yeshua #MostHighGod #HebrewIsraelites #Salvation #Scripture #Christianity #Faith #WordOfGod #LeoDunsonMinistriesSend "Tithes, Offerings, and/or Donations" to https://leodunson.com/donate or to https://cash.app/$LeoDunson Books:The Blessings of Gods' Laws; Affirmations: https://a.co/d/1M5jJ46Gods' Laws Commandments & Statutes: https://a.co/d/8qP06jcJoin Leo Dunson Ministries online community at: https://leodunsonministries.com

How Do I Start Walking With God?

In this message, “How Do I Start Walking With God?”, I break down a simple, biblical path for anyone who wants to seek the Most High, return to Him, or strengthen their walk with Him.Walking with God is more than simply saying you believe. Scripture teaches us to seek Him, learn His commandments, obey His Word, understand our need for Christ, properly understand grace, and receive the Holy Spirit. The 6 Steps:Believe God exists and genuinely seek Him.Learn what God says is right and wrong through His laws, commandments, and statutes.Start obeying what you learn.Understand that obedience cannot erase your past sins—you need Jesus Christ.Understand grace correctly: grace is not permission to abandon God's law.As you obey God, He gives you His Holy Spirit.God's law shows us what sin is, while Jesus Christ provides redemption for the debt our sin created. We don't keep God's commandments to replace Christ—we need Christ because we have not perfectly kept God's commandments. And as we diligently seek God and walk in obedience, Scripture shows us another incredible part of this journey: the gift and power of the Holy Spirit.God is waiting on you. God is calling you back to Him. Start following the Most High, accept Christ as your sacrifice and High Priest, and begin your walk with God today.#HowDoIStartWalkingWithGod #WalkingWithGod #JesusChrist #GodsLaws #HolySpirit #BibleStudy #Christianity #HebrewIsraelites #Faith #Torah #MostHighGod #YahuahSend "Tithes, Offerings, and/or Donations" to https://leodunson.com/donate or to https://cash.app/$LeoDunson Books:The Blessings of Gods' Laws; Affirmations: https://a.co/d/1M5jJ46Gods' Laws Commandments & Statutes: https://a.co/d/8qP06jcJoin Leo Dunson Ministries online community at: https://leodunsonministries.com

    Feasts Of Trumpets

In this message, Feast of Trumpets, I break down the biblical meaning and importance of one of God’s appointed Holy Days. From the sounding of the trumpets and remembering the Most High, to the prophetic return of Christ and gathering of His elect, the Feast of Trumpets carries a powerful message for God’s people.I also break down how we can celebrate the Feast of Trumpets today—rejoicing before God, resting from our regular work, gathering together, studying God’s laws, sounding the trumpet, worshiping with music, enjoying good food, and sharing with those who have nothing prepared. This is a Holy Day of remembrance, obedience, worship, giving, and JOY.“For the joy of the LORD is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10#FeastOfTrumpets #GodsHolyDays #HolyDays #BibleTeaching #BibleStudy #GodsLaws #Israelites #MostHighGod #Yahshua #JesusChrist #Trumpets #Nehemiah8 #Torah #BiblicalFeasts #LeoDunsonMinistriesSend "Tithes, Offerings, and/or Donations" to https://leodunson.com/donate or to https://cash.app/$LeoDunson Books:The Blessings of Gods' Laws; Affirmations: https://a.co/d/1M5jJ46Gods' Laws Commandments & Statutes: https://a.co/d/8qP06jcJoin Leo Dunson Ministries online community at: https://leodunsonministries.com

According to Prophecy, We Are the Israelites

In this Message, According to Prophecy, We Are the Israelites, I examine the identity of the biblical Israelites through one standard above all others: the prophecies written in the Word of God.Rather than relying on modern history, man-made charts, DNA arguments, or debates over appearances, this message compares the experiences of Black Americans and the African diaspora with biblical prophecies concerning slavery, ships, captivity, scattering among the nations, oppression, loss of identity, and eventual restoration.Through scriptures including Deuteronomy 28, Leviticus 26, Joel 3, Tobit 13, Hosea 1, and Luke 21, I make the case that these prophetic descriptions point directly to who we are.The ultimate question is not “Who does man say we are?” but “What does God’s Word say?”According to prophecy, We Are the Israelites.“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” — Isaiah 40:8Receive this message in Jesus’ name. I Can’t Victimize My Life

In this message, “I Can’t Victimize My Life,” I acknowledge the painful history of our people—from the curses of Deuteronomy 28 and the scattering of Israel to slavery, Jim Crow, and discrimination—but challenge us not to remain imprisoned by our past.God didn't only promise curses for disobedience; He also promised blessings for obedience. Our history may explain where we started, but it does not have to determine where we finish.I know what happened to us and what is currently still happening to us. But I refuse to let yesterday's curses become tomorrow's destiny.Send "Tithes, Offerings, and/or Donations" to https://leodunson.com/donate or to https://cash.app/$LeoDunson Books:The Blessings of Gods' Laws; Affirmations: https://a.co/d/1M5jJ46Gods' Laws Commandments & Statutes: https://a.co/d/8qP06jcJoin Leo Dunson Ministries online community at: https://leodunsonministries.com#ICantVictimizeMyLife #Deuteronomy28 #HebrewIsraelites #Israelites #BibleProphecy #GodsLaws #BlackHistory #Faith #JesusChrist #Sermon

    The Iran War

In this message, I discuss the current war with Iran from a biblical perspective, something I have yet to hear anyone speak about. Iran, as we know it in the Bible, is Persia, and there are several scriptures that speak about Persia. However, Isaiah 13:17 says, “Behold, I will stir up against them the Medes, who have no regard for silver and no desire for gold.”This appears to be exactly what happened at the start of this war. Iran was stirred—the Medes were attacked. We discuss this scripture in greater detail, as well as Iran’s tremendous military strategy in fending off the all-powerful American military, end-times prophecies, and much more.A few scriptures we discuss on the Medes (Iran):Isaiah 13:17 — “Behold, I will stir up against them the Medes, who have no regard for silver and no desire for gold.”Jeremiah 51:11 — “Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields! The Lord has stirred up the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is to destroy Babylon. The Lord will take vengeance, vengeance for his temple.”Jeremiah 51:27–29 — “Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.”I also discuss Genesis 17:20, Revelation 17:16, Revelation 19:19–20, and Ephesians 6:12, and what these scriptures may reveal about the larger spiritual and prophetic picture surrounding the events unfolding in our world today.Send "Tithes, Offerings, and/or Donations" to https://leodunson.com/donate or to https://cash.app/$LeoDunson Books:The Blessings of Gods' Laws; Affirmations: https://a.co/d/1M5jJ46Gods' Laws Commandments & Statutes: https://a.co/d/8qP06jcJoin Leo Dunson Ministries online community at: https://leodunsonministries.com#TheIranWar #IranWar #Iran #BibleProphecy #Medes #MediaPersia #Persia #BiblicalProphecy #Jeremiah51 #Isaiah13 #Revelation #EndTimes #BibleStudy #JesusChrist #LeoDunsonMinistries

    Don't Let Nothing Stop You

In this message, I share a simple truth that has changed my life: don't let nothing stop you. Too many people allow fear, doubt, society, family, friends, or past failures to convince them that their dreams are impossible. But the Bible says, **"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7 KJV)** and Jesus said, **"Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed... and shall not doubt in his heart... he shall have whatsoever he saith" (Mark 11:23 KJV).** Whether you're 16 or 65, there is still time to become everything God has called you to be. Believe!!!!! Stop Doubting Yourself!!!!!!! and go after your purpose with everything you've got. Don't let nothing stop you.#LeoDunson #ChristianMotivation #Faith #Mark1123 #Proverbs237 #Purpose #Success #Mindset #KingdomMindset #Motivation #Believe #JesusChrist #DontLetNothingStopYou #FaithOverFear #InspirationSend "Tithes, Offerings, and/or Donations" to https://leodunson.com/donate or to https://cash.app/$LeoDunson Books:The Blessings of Gods' Laws; Affirmations: https://a.co/d/1M5jJ46Gods' Laws Commandments & Statutes: https://a.co/d/8qP06jcJoin Leo Dunson Ministries online community at: https://leodunsonministries.com
