In this message from 2 Timothy 1:1–7, Pastor Caleb begins the series Grit and Grace by showing how Paul encouraged Timothy to remember his identity, rekindle the gift of God, and walk in the Spirit’s power instead of fear. The Reality of Following Jesus: What Most People Miss

What does it really mean to follow Jesus? In this message from Luke 9:57–62, Pastor Caleb teaches through three interactions Jesus had with people who said they wanted to follow Him. Each response reveals something about the human heart — our desire for comfort, security, control, and the old life. Jesus calls His disciples to deny themselves, take up their cross, fix their eyes on Him, and follow Him wherever He leads. Scripture References: Luke 9:57–62 Luke 10:1–3 Matthew 28 Matthew 8 Matthew 16:24–25 Matthew 6:19–20 Matthew 6:33 Hebrews 12 1 Corinthians 11:23–29 At River Oak Church, we are a welcoming family of imperfect people who share a passion for God, a passion for others, and a passion for graciously sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.  We enjoy an informal environment and Christ-exalting modern worship, and we are committed to following the truth of God’s Word.  We welcome you to come as you are, from wherever you’ve been, and join us! The Vital Signs of a Healthy Church

What makes a church spiritually healthy? In this message from Acts 2:41–47, Pastor Blake looks at the birth of the early church and River Oak’s four measures of health: following completely, changing continuously, living generously, and multiplying disciples. The early church was devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, prayer, generosity, and mission — and the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
