Episode 4 'In The Chair' with Cutthroatpete with Francesco Mellina

This episode contains the odd swear word! Nothing harsh or offensive. I got Francesco Mellina in my Barberchair and spoke about his incredibly adventurous life. He left Italy at 16, travelled, always dreamed of coming to Liverpool as a young boy, and decided to call it his home after only spending a short time here. He took his style inspiration from the 50's classic look, he managed 'Dead or Alive' the 1980's English Pop band, fronted by the mega eccentric Pete Burns. Listen to Francesco reveal his life story to me in this great episode of the podcast.  I met Francesco properly about six months after seeing him around the city for years, I always knew that he must have had an interesting story to tell, I was right!  Francesco was amongst many other things, a professional gig photographer mainly in Liverpool during the late 1970's. He released a book in 2014 called 'Revealed' he took this opportunity to share some of his amazing photography, not only of the massive bands that played in Liverpool but of the people that went to these gigs. His photography is candid, raw and makes you feel like you are at the gig.  Francesco will be releasing a new book within the next few months and will be looking for pledgers on Kickstarter to get his second project off the ground. I will definitely be pledging for a copy of this new book.  You can find Francesco on instagram @francescomellinaphotography and find his book at Waterstones.

Episode 3 'In The Chair' with Cutthroatpete with Mike Halls of Clean Cut Kid

The Long One..... Sometimes you have a conversation and everything needs to stay! this episode is longer than usual, trust me though... it's worth sticking around for.  Episode 3 is here, thank you again so much for the ratings and reviews so far. Big thanks to everybody too that entered my instagram/Podcast subscribe competition!  I recorded this weeks episode with Mike at my studio just before they headed out on a mini tour to promote their new album 'Painwave'. I have had the album on repeat since it's release day on 29th March.  Mike is one of the coolest people I've met in the last couple of years. I always find it amazing when I meet somebody who is as passionate about their interests/career, as I am about mine. Mike is one of those people I have met in life who I have instantly felt comfortable talking to, he is a great person. After seeing Clean Cut Kid perform a few times in the last few years I was dying to get Mike in my Barberchair, not only for a chat but to tame his beard for him. I felt honoured that Mike allowed me to trim his beloved beard and it was great to hear that he was buzzing with what I did to it.  Listen to Mike speak about how Clean Cut Kid were born, his love of music from a really young age, his wife Evelyn and their incredible harmonies and what it's like to have your head tattooed!  I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say Mike is nothing less than a musical genius, his musical brain blew me away on a few occasions during this chat.  If this is the first time you've heard of Clean Cut Kid please go and check them out on Spotify, iTunes, Instagram, Twitter.... and wherever else you might find them. Even book a ticket to one of there gigs on my recommendation, you definitely won't be disappointed!  Clean Cut Kid  https://open.spotify.com/artist/0vnJ2wR879kbb5MuzblVOb?si=egRuGGT7QKKIWSy24lQF-A https://www.instagram.com/cleancutkidmusic

Episode 2 'In The Chair' with Cutthroatpete with Matt Murphy

Episode 2... Thank you for all the great feedback about Episode 1!!  I recorded this episode with Matt Murphy, founder of Feel Supreme because when I first met Matt over a year ago to discuss CBD Oil his vast knowledge blew me away. I really enjoy when I meet somebody who is as passionate about their job/work/business as I am and when I met Matt for the first time I learnt so much in the short time I spent with him not only about CBD Oil but about loads of other natural nutritional supplements that his company produce and sell.  CBD Oil literally has helped me massively, for a while whilst I was struggling pretty bad with my anxiety I was struggling to get a good nights sleep which was making me feel even more anxious. After speaking to Matt and asking him a thousand and one questions he put my mind at ease, shared his knowledge and recommended I try it.  I am now a sponsored partner of Feel Supreme and am very proud to share the knowledge I have and steer people in the right direction when I get asked about CBD Oil.  Listen to Matt speak in depth about how he started his brand, what CBD oil actually is and why you should really do your research or buy from a reputable supplier when it comes to try alternative natural supplements.  I receive questions daily about CBD oil and how it helps me so it is my pleasure to share my conversation I had with Matt with you. I hope you take away some great information from this podcast.  Feel Supreme's products can be found here.... https://feelsupreme.co.uk/ If you would like any more information regarding Feel Supreme, please either drop me an email pete@cutthroatpete.co or drop the company themselves a message via their website.  Thanks listening, and please make sure you Rate, Review and Subscribe!
