Come in, relax, and join me in discussing the music I love. Critical evaluations and snooty opinions are not what I'm about. Each episode is centered around a particular album or theme I want to explore. I'm tired of the hyper critical culture of music reviews. I don't rate to the decimal here. In fact, I don't rate at all. My only goal is to breathe fresh air into the music discussion universe and, in the process, make a connection with you - the listener.

    The Cure - Wish

Finally, well over a year after recording my first episode I dive back in. This time we're talking about The Cure's 1992 album Wish. A couple of notes. First, I realize I completely failed to talk about "A Letter to Elise." My bad, awful oversight. But truth be told it's a fairly forgettable track for me as it seems like a lesser retread of "Pictures of You." If I were to make my version of the album by replacing album tracks with b-sides, this would be one of the ones I'd cut. Sorry, I know that hurts many of you out there deeply. :( And I also didn't mention specifically what songs I think should have made the album which I meant to do but forgot. So here we go: I'd take out: Wendy Time, Friday, I'm in Love, A Letter to Elise I'd add: This Twilight Garden, Play, The Big Hand Support the show

Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire

This is the debut! Here I explore the sophomore album by the powerful foursome alternative group Rage Against the Machine. I recorded this in 2019 and am re-uploading for all to enjoy. Support the show
