    Bryce Harper's two-run homer, Brandon Marsh's four-hit night lead the bats, while Aaron Nola and Johan Duran lead the arms in the Phillies 3-2 win over the Padres.   Aaron Nola’s night was done after five innings allowing two runs on four hits while striking out 8. The only costly mistake he made was leaving a 1-2 knuckle curve up a little too much to Gavin Sheets with a man on and sheets put it in the right field stands for a two-run homer. Nola threw 95 pitches over his outing with   The Phillies picked Nola up in the 4th inning, when Bryce Harper smacked a two-run homer of his own to left/center field to even the score at 2-2.     The Philadelphia Phillies take an EMBARRASSING 9-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, as they drop two-of-three in LA.     The Phillies struck out 34 times over the three-game set.     Andrew Painter started for the Phillies and was done after 3.1 innings allowing four runs on seven hits including a pair of solo homers in the 4th. The 23-year-old righty threw 80 pitches to get through his day.     The lone Phillies run came in the 9th when Bryson Stott hit a solo homer, his 6th of the season.     The Philadelphia Phillies get a 3-run rally on Tanner Scott in the 7th inning to get past the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4-3   Jesus Luzardo started for the Phillies and threw 5.1 allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out six. Luzardo had some bad luck on his side as the second Dodger run was scored after a misplay by Justin Craford in center and an error by Adolis Garcia who was trying to back up Crawford on the same play.     Roki Sasaki kept the Phillies bats cooled until the 6th inning, when he allowed two base runners with one out. Alex Vesia then entered the game and didn’t allow a run. Sasaki’s book closed at 5.1 innings allowing one run on three hits and a walk, while striking out seven.     In that 6th inning, the Phillies loaded the bases with one out and failed to bring a run home. Don Mattingly opted to have Edmundo Sosa pinch hit for Brandon Marsh as the Dodgers had a lefty on the mound in Vesia and Sosa struck out.     The in the 8th, Justin Crawford started the rally win a leadoff single, then came around to score on a Bryce Harper RBI single.     The Phillies lose to the Dodgers in game one of their three game series, 4-2   Zack Wheeler’s night was done after six innings allowing five hits and a career high four solo home runs. Wheeler used 90 pitches as he saw his ERA rise from 1.67 to 2.27   Wheeler’s the first Phillies’ pitcher since Jerad Eickhoff in 2016 to give up four homers and still go six innings. Eickhoff did so in a 15-2 loss to the Pirates.   Dodgers starter Justin Wrobleski took a no-hitter into the 6th inning, but Kyle Schwarber smacked a solo homer to center field to break up the no-hit-bid.
