What does it mean to be an Unexpected Warrior? It is to be unanticipated or unforeseen. To be someone that the Lord chooses that would make no sense. So, I would like to invite you on a journey of faith, hope, and growth in Jesus Christ. As we dedicate a few minutes each day, we will begin to see what God wants to reveal to each of us for our lives through His Word. It is mostly in the quiet, reflective moments of our day that He speaks to our hearts and gives us fresh revelation and direction for our lives. So, come on! Let's begin our journey together in becoming Unexpected Warriors!

    The transformation of a believer into an Unexpected Warrior through the lens of 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 emphasizes that being a "new creation" is a fundamental shift in identity, where the "old life is gone" and the mission of reconciliation begins. It's not "self-improvement"... It's a gift of grace from God that we receive by faith. And that starts us on the journey of putting off the old self and putting on Christ to become His Ambassadors of reconciliation to the world around us! So, come along on the journey of becoming the Unexpected Warriors that God has created us to be!

    What does it mean to be an Unexpected Warrior? To be unexpected is to be unanticipated or unforeseen. To be someone that the Lord chooses that would make no sense to the culture around us. Look at Noah, everyone thought he was crazy. Look at Moses. He didn't speak well and was a murderer. Look at David. A lowly shepherd disregarded by even his own brothers! Look at the Disciples. A tattered group of uneducated fishermen and a tax collector that was hated by his own people. Then there is Jesus himself... It was said that nothing good ever came from Nazareth. And He was a prophet without honor in his own city. So, that is where we fit in. We are a group for those who have perhaps been unseen, left behind, or disqualified by past failures. Yet we are encouragers with a heart for others. So, we will come together to help each other grow into the full potential that God has placed within each of us! We will challenge each other to step out of our comfort zones to reach the done, the doubting, and the disengaged. And together we will learn how to live our lives as the Unexpected Warriors that God has created us to be!
