    An Interesting Hobby- VEX Robotics

    If you're looking for a hobby that mixes programming, building, and academics, then VEX Robotics is the right thing for you. In VEX Robotics, commonly referred to as robotics, you and your team come together and build, program, and drive the robot to compete in tournaments. In these tournaments, your robot goes through a series of tests and games and gets judged by functionality, performance, and design. In this podcast, we will be going over the details of VEX Robotics and its tournaments.

    Why should I learn about...the "Star-Spangled Banner"?

    On September 14, 1814, Francis Scott Key was in a British ship when he saw the U.S. base get bombarded by the British. The next day, Francis woke up and saw the U.S. flag be raised over the base. Inspired, Francis Scott Key would write a poem that would soon be sung all across the world: The Star-Spangled Banner.

    September 11, 2001, is a date that everybody in America should know about. It was the date in which our country would change forever. And although no one in the media class at El Rancho was alive during the event, we interviewed a few teachers who were. Through these interviews, we were able to find out how the attacks on 9/11 still affect them today.

    Should college athletes be paid?

    This podcast is about should Division 1 athletes be paid? Division 1 athletes bring in money for the colleges and the NCAA, but they aren't paid, so we think that they should, considering all their hard work for the college. We interviewed some former D1 athletes on the topic and discussed our own opinions. Enjoy!
