    26. Project Recalibration - Sometimes we fall, but what matters more is how quickly we get up

    Hello! Today, I talk about how I started my morning off wrong by not completing the morning routine. By not completing it, I effectively broke the promise I made to myself. Old Me would have said, well, that’s that. I will make sure not to do it tomorrow and Id move on with my day and likely would not have finished the night routine. But old Me wasn’t producing the results I want, so he had to get replaced. And if I replace my old self with a new version that does the same exact thing, I won’t go nowhere. I also share some of the folks I look up to and some of the struggles they faced. Thank you for tuning in today.     Hello! Today I talk about the power of choice, how I’ve let my power get weak, and what I’ve been doing to make it strong again. My wife and I were listening to an audiobook early in the morning, and today it happened to touch upon choices. Because of what we have going on in our lives right now and what Darren Hardy shared in The Compound Effect, I wanted to remind myself and others of the super power we all have available to use.     24. Project Recalibration - Why I am reducing my dosage of Instant Gratification

    Hello! In today’s episode I talk about one of my most enjoyable bad habits. Instant gratification. It’s a bad habit to build because when results take longer to generate, it begins to feel discouraging. Instant gratification is great short term, but it does very little to benefit me long term. I discuss some of the habits I’ve kicked and also a very extreme way I have decided to do the opposite of instantly feeling great. Recently, I began substituting the creamer with almond milk and I had to share what I’ve experienced since making this change.     Hello! Today I share why I decided to develop a morning and night routine. My wife has been following hers for several weeks now and I’m definitely seeing her progress coming along well! Today we were watching an interview with Ed Mylett where he mentioned this exact concept and how it helped him propel his business when he really wasn’t in a good spot. I share with you where I am coming from, some of the actions I will be including in my routine and what I hope to accomplish.     Hello! Today I talk about the crippling feeling of believing that I am not enough. It’s a problem many people face for a number of reasons. I share why I feel like I’m not enough in certain aspects of my business as a Comercial Insurance Advisor. I also go into what mental shifts had to occur in order to reposition my perspective so that I can see myself in a different light.     Hello! In today’s podcast I talk about a new habit my wife and I are trying to form. Using a planner to plan the day. We have noticed that by not planning out our day, it’s easier to get of course and lose focus of what needs to get done. We will be using some of what we have learned to make it as effective as possible and a huge inspiration comes from Andy Frisella’s concept of the power list.
