“YOUR WEEKEND SHOW” is the culmination of a dream Bob Biermann had in the mid-1980s when he first realized the world-wide impact of International Shortwave radio. Over the years he has wanted to launch such a program, but the timing was not just right. As the nature of Shortwave has changed in recent decades, a Magazine type show, such as “YOUR WEEKEND SHOW,” fills a definite programming void now, more than ever.

Called, Separate, & Empowered

During this past week Bob has been sharing his thoughts on how we, as Christians, should quietly separate ourselves from the things of this world, and develop our own media platforms, podcasts, connected community, and answering the call that each of us has for our work in God’s Kingdom. On this episode Bob gives more tangible information on how we prepare for the difficult times ahead, and what is truly important. A SPECIAL NOTICE TO THOSE THAT HEAR THIS PODCAST. What Fills Your Mind?

A SPECIAL NOTICE TO THOSE THAT HEAR THIS PODCAST. As many may already know, “Your Weekend Show” is now “Truth to Ponder.” The program is no longer just a weekend program, but it is now Monday-Friday. You can find the daily program at: https://anchor.fm/bob-biermann Effective after April 4, 2021, this Podcast will only be at the aforementioned site and will no longer be uploaded here. Bob opens with the question “What fills your mind?” How much time do we spend with negative news, the filth and lies of the world, “The Daily News,” and Social Media? Probably more than most of us would want to admit. Today, Bob shares some serious thoughts about how to balance our time, and how to be more effective agents of change in a world that seems to have gone insane.

Finding Hope when the news seems hopeless

Finding balance in the news today is not easy. Trying to balance common sense with fear is also not an easy task to accomplish in the age of coronavirus. Since the beginning of both the radio program and podcast the goal has been both to inform but also provide hope. Bob shares some of what you have suggested, and where God is leading.

A Trip down Under with George Christensen

The Friday and Weekend Edition of “Truth to Ponder” Bob welcomes his guest Member of the Australian Parliament, George Christensen. George is both a Christian and a Conservative, so he gets lots of negative press as many Christians and Conservative do. Remember, the Bible warns that Christians will be hated by the world. On this edition Bob and George talk about the same very issues troubling much of the world today from the pandemic to the tech tyranny, suppression of speech, and the powerful billionaire oligarchies that dominate much of the world and technology.

Triumphing in Tribulation-Opportunities in Oppression

The Friday and Weekend Edition of “Truth to Ponder” is both a dire reminder of the times ahead, but also a message of hope and survival. Christians and Conservatives are now in the sights of those on the left, and a time of unprecedented persecution, oppression, and social de-platforming has already begun. Bob reminds us of how even Christians can easily get caught in the trap of believing and sharing misinformation and how that misinformation can hurt the cause of truth and the Church. This deception will be used as the excuse to even close bank accounts. On the second half of the program, he shares some thoughts about the future of both using radio and the podcast, plus some incredible opportunity ahead in spite of what is ahead.
