    Hunter Yurachek Put Ryan Day 12th And Alabama 5th | Menace2Sports The first College Football Playoff rankings of 2026 are out. Ohio State debuted at No. 12 at 6-2, the first team out of the projected field. That's after the Buckeyes' 30-18 loss at USC, where true freshman Luke Fahey made his first start with Julian Sayin out. Alabama, also 6-2, landed at No. 5. Indiana, which lost only to Ohio State, sits at No. 4.
