    RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS vs the Boston Red Sox

    The Rays win their 5th straight series, beating the Red Sox 4-1. The Rays got on the board early. Junior Caminero roped a solo homer in the 1st that made it 1-0. The Rays would add another 2 runs in the 3rd inning. First it was a Chandler Simpson RBI single that made it 2-0. That was followed up by Ben Williamson hitting an opposite field single that made it 3-0. The Rays added their last run in the 6th on a RBI sac bunt by Cedric Mullins which made it 4-0. Nick Martinez started for the Rays and was fantastic once again. He went 5.2 IP striking out 3 and only allowing 1 run. The Rays bullpen combined to go the last 3.1 IP not allowing any runs.     The Rays win streak ends at 7 with a 2-0 loss to the Boston Red Sox. The Rays offense let them down tonight. The Rays had a golden opportunity in the 3rd inning to take control of the game with the bases loaded and 0 outs with the middle of their order up. Unfortunately the Rays could not cash in after a heart breaking double play would end the inning. The Red Sox would make things even worse for the Rays in the bottom of the third. They blasted a solo homer to take the 1-0 lead. The added another solo homer in the 4th to make it 2-0. That would be all the runs the Red Sox would need as the Rays bats fell silent. The duo of Jesse Scholtens and Mason Englert were fantastic for the Rays tonight. They kept the Rays in the game only allowing the 2 runs over 8 IP.     The Rays will their 7th in a row, beating the Red Sox 8-4. The Rays got off to a fast start. It started in the 2nd inning with a Jonny DeLuca  RBI single to make it 1-0. Then Cedric Mullins had a RBI bunt single that made it 2-0. Yandy Diaz added a Sac Fly to cap off a 3 run 2nd. The Red Sox answered right back in the bottom of the inning to tie it at 3. The Rays would start to break the game open in the 6th. With the bases loaded and 1 out Chandler Simpson stepped in and smacked a 2 RBI single up the middle to give the Rays a 5-3 lead. Simpson would not be done contributing. He laced a RBI triple in the 8th to make it 6-3. After Yandy Diaz recored his 1,000 career hit in the 9th, Junior Caminero unloaded a monster home run to make it 8-4.The Red Sox added 1 in the bottom of the 8th but it would be to little to late.     The Rays comeback to beat the Blue Jays, winning 4-3. The Rays for the first time in a while got off to a slow start. The Blue Jays took an early 1-0 lead after a solo homer in the first. The Jays added a 2nd run in the 2nd to take a 2-0 lead. The Rays would get a run back in the 3rd on a Jonathan Aranda RBI single. The Rays would eventually tie the game in the 4th to make it 2-2. The Blue Jays would immediately take the lead back in the 5th to make it 3-2. It would stay that score until the 8th inning. With a runner on 2nd and 1 out Yandy Diaz lined a RBI single up the middle to tie the game. The Ben Williamson came on with 2 on and 1 out and gave the Rays the lead with another RBI single to make it 4-3. Cole Sulser came in the game in the 9th to shut it down and to give the Rays their 11th win in their last 12 games.
