    Paul Hirsch

    Paul Hirsch

Today David Altrogge sits down with Oscar-winner Paul Hirsch.  And while he’s not a documentary filmmaker, he’s one of Hollywood’s most revered editors (we're talking Carrie, Star Wars, Ferris Buhlers Day Off, and Mission Impossible to name a few). He's also the author of A Long Time Ago in a Cutting Room Far, Far Away (which is one of our all-time favorite books about filmmaking).  Today’s episode is pure gold.

Interesting insight into the process

It's an interesting listen, to people who have a very different career than I do, and how their thought and creatve process is correspondingly different, as well.

Awesome

Super cool insight into chefs table and Brian McGinns process. The conversational aspect of the interview makes this flow really nicely and is super easy to listen to.
