Who knew watching 90 Day Fiancé could lead to actual personal growth? Mattie and Poodle are hilarious, sharp, unapologetically feminist, and surprisingly insightful. They understand that beneath the spectacular dysfunction of reality TV are very real relationship dynamics, learned behaviors, and cultural expectations that deserve examining. The beauty of 90 Day Fiancé is that it magnifies the patterns we all recognize in our own relationships—just with worse decisions, questionable immigration motives, and a camera crew. In real life, those patterns are usually more subtle (and thankfully less entertaining). What sets this podcast apart is Mattie and Poodle’s ability to dissect those dynamics with intelligence, empathy, and absolutely devastating humor. I’ve genuinely learned things about myself, recognized some of my own less-than-flattering behaviors, and made changes that have improved my relationships. Personal growth from a reality TV recap podcast? The audacity! And to those negative reviewers accusing the hosts of hating men: Holding men accountable isn’t misandry. It’s called having standards. If that distinction offends you, there’s always Joe Rogan. If you love 90 Day Fiancé and appreciate smart cultural commentary, feminist perspectives, and laugh-out-loud comedy, this is your podcast. You’ll come for the mess and might accidentally leave a better person.

I am a longtime listener and am OBSESSED. Have gone to live shows and have merch! But…for the love! Let Mattie speak! Poodle interrupts approx 80% of Mattie’s sentences. Especially on information involving psychology and therapy. Mattie has had an actual professional career and education in this area, which makes his input about the shows so interesting . Poodle’s takes in this area are usually so awful and he interrupts Mattie’s informative and interesting takes to give his own “life coach” ones. Also, Poodle’s sweeping generalizations of autistic people are pretty bad. He speaks with such authority on these topics and is usually incorrect about many aspects. Just had to say this! It’s gotten so much worse so maybe he will see this and tone it down? Love everything else about it otherwise!
