    Plastic Free July - You are an eco badass!

    Join me in today's episode discussing Plastic free July, what it means to cut plastic out your life and what the benifit and draw backs are from zero living! I have some incredible guest speakers today including my friend Suz who has been a major inspiration for my zero waste journey, you can learn about her through her Instagram @sn0ooz. I also have a local Cardiff zero waste shop Ekologi talking about their journey to cut plastic from their lives and their tips for becoming a little more eco conscious. Finally I have the epic Friendly Turtle Company who are an online seller of sustainable, eco friendly products who share their insight into zero waste as well as a really cool experiment you can try at home!     In today's episode we look at the idea that greatness is within your grasp even when it doesn't seem that way. Touching on the social influences that teach us that we 'can't' when in actual fact you're capable of more than you think! My guest today is the wonderful Cat from Cats Crafts who talks about her struggles with chronic illness and how she aims for Greatness regardless. Even if you take one thing away from this podcast, it's that you are born for greatness, but it starts with self belief.

    Listen, learn, speak. Black Lives Matter.

    I think it's important for all of us to keep this conversation going. Talk about race, how to educate ourselves further and learn how to ally. I talk a lot about different places you can educate yourself, donate, support and find more information. The TV shows and films are: 13, dear white people, when they see us, American Son and who killed Malcolm X. The podcasts I mention are: code switch, The nod, The stoop, identity politics and Yo is this racist. The time is now for action. Move with compassion. Listen, learn and amplify the black voices speaking up. Call out those who continue to be ignorant and remember; I understand that I will never understand. However I stand.
