Kayla, I admire your desire to draw closer to the Lord and to spread the message of His word to the world, but you are deeply misguided. Christianity is not something you just pick up and decide to preach about. It is a sacred relationship with Christ and speaking about Him and His word requires the responsibility of accuracy. To cherry pick Bible verses to serve what you may think God says, or simply what you want to believe, is a gross manipulation of those wanting to truly know Him. As Christians, we have a deep respect for the relationship God created with the people of Israel, but to claim that He calls us to support the current government of Israel in their genocide of an entire people, including innocent children, is the claim of nothing other than a false prophet. Love is at the core of who God is, especially love for the children. And if you remember, “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.” Deuteronomy 10:18. This is God’s heart. Not support of a specific government, especially not one murdering innocents. I would also like to caution you against comparing communion cups to shot glasses. I think your approach to the sacredness of communion is careless and dangerous. I encourage you to find a pastor or spiritual leader that can guide you in your walk with the Lord, instead of blindly trying to guide others.
